It’s certainly a little bit different - certainly been a lot of rain down. It was quieter when we were filming but generally a fairly small site and only one other van staying when we were there - we liked it quiet 😊 Hope you and Jenny have a happy New Year - all the best, David & Rachel 🎉👍

Happy birthday Rachael, looks you had a brilliant day. Saw your other video on it and it looked amazing then, it seems to look even better now, what an amazing place, only 20 minutes away from us aswell 🙂 Pizza looked gorgeous, when i used to go to the gym i used to go in the sauna then dip into the ice pool, really does make you feel alive and defo worth trying 🙂. It looked an amazing stay with lots to do. I’ve had a fire and ice experience at a spa and it really is amazing how lovely ice feels on your skin after being in a sauna. Take care Gill

@@LeisureBit we're planning approaching 3 weeks in Northumberland in September and given that Nicola's birthday is in September we plan to book 2 nights on a pitch with the hot tub 😀 before we return home.

Looks like another fantastic time David & Rachel, can't beat a sauna and then a plunge pool. Disappointed there wasn't something bubbly in a glass when you were in the hot tub and did I spot Rachel's 500 on the car park😂😂 Cheers K.

Glad you enjoyed it and had a wonderful birthday, as you said it’s an experience, I’d rather a posh hotel or spa but I totally get it. Some nice cars tho, definitely some rich blokes plaything 😊
Thank you - now I would have thought you would have gone van with your new posh campervan rather than hotel 🤔. Don’t get me wrong I don’t mind the occasional hotel but do like my own space. I’m with you on the Spa(r) though - £5 a bottle or pack of cans is the way to go. You need very deep pockets and long arms for that don’t you. Know what you mean as we were shocked the first time but comparatively it’s quite an experience and camping pitches start from £40 so not too bad as some C&MC sites starting rate is higher at times which is shocking. Something a bit different isn’t it. Pleased you enjoyed it - all the very best, David & Rachel 👍

@@mrsjoannecw ahhh I know Gainford well. I lived there briefly in my teens and my aunty lives there now. I think Whitewater is a cracking site too - so near yet so far!
It’s our second trip which we visited 13th-14th December, last time we visited earlier in the year in June in the summer. We went back for Rachel’s birthday and they had added a number of new things and things which we didn’t look at last time. I included the main workshop as there will be a number of people who didn’t see that and for completeness / how it looks at Christmas. Hope that makes sense, all the best David & Rachel 👍
The pitches start @ £40 and gives you the most incredible facilities. The Nook pitch is £100 but does come with hot tub and its own private viewing platform. It’s not one you could afford daily but well worth a treat. Rachel & David 💕
We do love you channel and the content you provide but, 🙄 it’s just a little bit 😬 when you are talking to camera you both talk to the preview screen and not the camera! Are you not meant to be talking to the audience and not your own self on the screen? 🤷♂️
Hi thank you so much for your feedback 💕 I think you may be referring to when I was talking about the sauna / pool. If so please accept my apologise I left my Go pro in the van and filmed on my phone which isn’t ideal. David’s also got a new camera that he is getting used to.
