The editing of these is getting so good.

For me this episode is a transcendent joy. I love seeing more of Stefan. Somehow Stefan you made something truely life giving out of a person who seemed like a disappointment to you all. I am glad we got an extension! Leaving in perhaps the most stoic useful advice for our time: WE NEED NEW WAYS TO DEAL WITH TRUTH Rather than more of the packaged “life threatening positions” which today find themselves at the centre of both of the great ideologies. As Nietzsche says of the Tragedy of the Ass: “To perish under a burden one can neither bear nor throw off” Any position like this is not a true solution. I was surprised Tarik didn’t chew on the miserable psychological collapse of Jordan “not wanting anyone to think about anything” a little more. Obviously it was you Stefan who was polluting his “not thinking” red apple green apple confidence and self aware irony he can display in his other interviews with your professional passivity unloved by celebrities. But forget the chewing, I appreciate Tarik’s “Nay” much more. Jordan’s neurotic behaviour, egotistic cultivation set against his Buddhist “it’s all the void” is not fascinating enough to explore beyond a tired Nay. For he is not a true star, living in a true conflict with his own cynical decadence and his meaningful activism, he appears just an animal of the status quo. Tired and resentful when asked an honest question he could have predicted. It reminds me of one of my favourite KIRAC moments when Stefan ignored Steven ten Thije when he attempts to engage in KIRAC 16. Tarik knows: “This is not an equal, I am bored, go back to sleep.” This is what proves the case that KIRAC could never be thought of as mere “horsing around” (as I’m guessing maybe you are accused of?) That you are instantly bored with anyone you could easily make cry. And only make the title of your videos the people you could actually respect.

To me this episode could be summed up with the following punchline: "How a crackhouse is a better art place than a museum" Therefore, I'd like to see that silly Jordan artist (I was glad I did not know before, damn you, Kirac!) in a crackhouse dealing with some seriously high, real people. That would be a performance.

High Value Art has never been about the art itself. It's always been about bored rich people wanting to be entertained. The patrons of Italy in the Renaissance, the salons of Paris, Victorian London, New York, and LA. In all those places, and throughout art history, music, architecture, dance, it's always been about rich people who need to buy friends and be entertained and flaunt their wealth at other rich people. The Salons of Paris are the best example. Wealthy aristocrats with nothing to do, usually their wives, would invite people with stories to tell and keep them entertained, and to keep them coming back, would toss money at them for paintings, music, and literature. They were a literal buffet of food for artists who could keep the wealthy interested, and if you happened to impress one of those brokers, you could be invited to the gravy train, also. The aristocrats, in turn, would "collect these people like pets" to show off to their other aristocratic friends, to impress them with how important they were. If you look at the artists who are successful in the art world, you'll find people who are excellent in entertainment. They have exotic lives, tell stories, party hard. They are charismatic, sometimes beautiful, sometimes ugly, but always interesting. They don't climb the art-ladder, they take the elevator. They attend the right parties, meet the right people, right galleries, all because they were interesting to the right person, and impressed someone with wealth. They attracted attention to themselves before they attracted attention to their art. On the other side, most extremely wealthy people do not care at all about the art, they only care about the name on the art, and that other wealthy people recognize it. For them, art is a status symbol, an investment, or both. Rich people are nothing but meal tickets for a wide network of brokers and resellers trading in a small group of content creators. Am I crazy or is it obvious that Jordan Wolfson is obviously performing for the camera? To me, he seems very charismatic, and he's aware of that, so he flaunts it and plays it up. Also, for your information, Female Figure will be an art history textbooks in fifty years. Not much you can really do about that. Doesn't mean it's a good work of art, either.

While watching this, and most KIRAC episodes, I feel the (beloved) need for discussion, spiced with a pinch of personal conflict. I feel a challenge surfacing while watching Stefan, Kate, Tarik, and the portrayed protagonist, and some of the extras. 'Is there a way to outwit them with words? Proof them wrong in an intellectual wordy way, even if I don't agree with my celebratory statement.' I concluded that I won't. This nitwit will never be that well-spoken and in such prowess of any spoken language. So I counter-challenge you, Stefan, Kate, and concords, dance with me. See me pointing towards the ceiling, while two fingers cross my eyes. I don't want to be a victor anymore. I just want to whisper or hear you say 'dance with me daddy' while we slowly let go of all these words.

Die POV shot van jullie prachtige kind die duidelijk niet gelijktijdig plaatsvind doorbreekt wel een beetje, het opofferen van realisme voor n goed shot speelt te hard in contrast met de realiteit die jullie docus aan het licht proberen brengen. Mss kleine nuance maar toch 'n beetje gevaarlijk pad vind ik.
