Kirby’s Return to Dream Land Deluxe - Magolor Epilogue - Nintendo Direct 2.8.23 

The amount of content being shoved into this remake is nuts … I really hope this epilogue ends up setting a semi-tradition of side stories based on each of the dream friends, it’d be interesting to see how games/sub games based around each of them would play out

THIS is how you do a remake. Rebuild the original game with beautiful graphics, add quality of life features from games that came after the original, expanding upon the main game with new powers, new side content with subgames from all over the series' history, adding to the story of the original with an epilogue, etc. Hats off to HAL once again for making another great remake and a game that truly deserves the "deluxe" title it's given. A wonderful way to end off Kirby's 30th anniversary and I can't wait to see what HAL has in store for the pink puff next.

This kinda implies that Magolor's strength in his star allies appearance isn't simply a residue from the master crown, but magic that he already had to begin with. I like that implication.

"Magolor goes to Ultrahell" is truly the greatest selling point, you could apply that to any video game and it'd be effective, even non-Kirby ones Glad that RTDL DX is showing that it actually earned its "Deluxe" subtitle, this new mode looks neat! During the Direct, I noticed "Under My Control" was incorporated into the medley at 1:09, this is like one of the only times that song's ever been arranged in any way

Now this is what we call, *"Mago-LORE"*

Not only Magalor made another theme park, but he got his own freaking game mode. This is definitely one of the greatest things to see exist since he is one of my favorite characters.

This Epilogue is super cool cuz of how it will enhance the lore of Kirby and finally gives us more backstory on Magalor. I would love it if all the other past Kirby villains got treatment like this.

I can't believe Magolor got lost traveling between dimensions when he is the CERTIFIED INTERDIMENSIONAL TRAVELER of the franchise

If they use this to actually justify why Magolor became a nicer guy in the last 10 years, then this epilogue might give Kirby another game award.

I finally see how Magolor got back after Kirby and his friends defeated him and the Master Crown. They are actually giving Magolor plenty of character development and that's a great thing.

If you think about it. Magolor’s the only kirby villain out of the three 3D video games that we haven’t seen a proper redemption arc for. This is a welcome addition!

Not only did these madlads give Magalor his amusement park, but he also gets his own epilogue?! This is a *FANTASTIC* timeline to be a Magalor fanboy!! So happy I pre-ordered this game last week! Also props to Nintendo for doing their hardest to not spoil this character for the new players, despite us veterans knowing a *LOT* about this little guy.

I'm so hyped to play as Magolor again! Hopefully he gets to be playable in the next Smash game.

Imagine if they did this for remasters of the other games from this era, like showing how Taranza got ahold of the amazing mirror, or how Susie escaped back to her dad after getting stranded in another world.

Now THIS is quite the bit of *ultra super deluxe* content. I had a bit of a *nightmare* in my *dreams* that this remake wouldn’t deliver, but this Kirby of the *Stars* remake is *super stacked!*

Playable Magolor was a thing in Star Allies but this is like a full game dedicated to him.

I think this solidifies Magolor as a consistent Kirby character from now on. With this epilogue, we'll be able to see him return to dreamland a changed man, and officially be welcomed into the Kirby crew for more appearances for games to come.

If Taranza could get a story like this, I think I'd die on the spot. Out of happiness, obviously.

I can feel the Kirby's return to Dreamland deluxing inside of me. My favorite part is when magolor said "it's magolorin' time" and magolored all over the place. Truly one of the moments ever.

Okay now we get to find out how magolor actually got back

I hope fully leveled up he gets a moveset like that in Star Allies

The way they just causally transition to Kirby gameplay just sells the point on how powerful Kirby is

This probably sounds strange but I'm more hyped for "Magolor's Epilogue" then the actually game? That just might be because Magolor is my favorite character though

When I doubted 100% that any more Dreamland Deluxe content would be shown, the cutscene with Magalor in the direct made me eat my words. Its so great that we actually get to see what happened with Magalor after “dying” in the final fight, and if Triple Deluxe or any other Kirby games got remakes in the mere future with this same concept and lore dump, it would be great!

MAGOLOR'S SURVIVAL AND HEEL-FACE TURN IS CANON I AM ABSOLUTELY OVERJOYED

The opening shot showing Magolor drifting(falling?) through the dimensional rift looks uncannily like a similar shot of Dr. Hans Reinhardt drifting through the black hole's interior, in the ending of Disney's "the black hole".

Magalor losing all his color and power reminds me of a Cirque du Soleil show called Quidam where a few characters in that show go from colorful to colorless symbolizing them losing everything but they later try to bring it back just like Magalor trying to regain his powers.

I mean, I'm happy to see Kirby content, and although it seemed like a longshot anyways, I think Forgotten Lands deserved a DLC. Would've loved to see one or two more worlds of 4-5 levels each & 2-3 new bosses, a new power or 2, and maybe a small expansion onto Waddle-Dee Town.

I always loved Magolor, it's so awesome to see he's getting his own story. I'm loving the concept of leveling up your abilities, that would be an amazing new addition to any future mainline Kirby game.

1:20 With the Bouncys here sharing thr face of... Void Termina... Makes you think how much of the Ancients lore and their connections to Magalor might be revealed in this sidemode. Would be cool

Wow, I can't believe we're getting an epilogue focusing on Magolor! I'm sure he doesn't do anything bad that put him in this position in the first place :)

I hesitated on getting this game since it was just a rerelease with some extra abilities and remakes of some sub-games. But now you've got me sold.

So many wonderful things are being added to the remastered Kirby game. Magalor is one of the funnest characters to be ever played as. It'll be great to play as him again in RtDL Deluxe.

I hope they make a remake for triple deluxe. They can make a similar side story for Taranza and explain more on how he got the dimension mirror and gave it to Queen Sectonia, turning her evil.

All of us believed Magolor died after final battle...

It would be really cool if the final boss in this mode turns out to be the very Crown that corrupted him or his own corrupted Soul (another Magolor Soul form).

They really went the extra mile with this game. Not only they remade the entire campain, and added a whole new session of mini games, they also made a new campaing, showing us more about our good boi Magolor!

This is actually looking pretty epic. I wasn't planning on picking it up since I have the original on wii but now it's caught my attention. New abilities, minigames, and story? It also got a revamped art design. This is looking good to even the people that still have the original. It won't be super star ultra tier of remake but it's looking as good as nightmare in dreamland right now if not better.

This is how you do a remake! As someone who became a fan with Triple Deluxe, I’m excited to try this one out, as I know it marks the beginning of director Shinya Kumazaki‘s approach to this magical series.

Here I am, stuck between dimensions, and devoid of my powers... If I can restore my powers... perhaps I can find a way back home... And when I do... I hope... he will forgive me...

I am totally going to enjoy this epilogue.

Yay! I’m so happy that we finally get to see how Magolor got back home and reunited with Kirby! I’d be more than glad to help him restore his powers and return to Halcandra! I feel so bad for Magolor since he must have had a very tragic past, and I hate all of the inside jokes about him. He’s a good boy through and through, no matter what anybody else says! I’ve been coming up with an origin story for him over the years, and that includes the reason why he sought the Master Crown, other than for power. Once I complete the story, I can’t to share it with all of you! I really enjoyed the original Kirby’s Return to Dream Land for the Wii, and I can’t wait for Kirby’s Return to Dream Land Deluxe to be released! But first I need to get Kirby and the Forgotten Land! I also have Kirby Star Allies and completed its Story Mode, but there's lots of other things for me to do in the game, including Guest Star ???? Star Allies Go!
