The fight was poor as hell, there was no deep lore, it was just OH NOES EVIL POSESSING EYES ATTACKED A PLANET AND THEY'RE EVIL. It really wasn't worth getting all the Crystal Shards.

Almost the graphic quality of a Sega Dreamcast, just low resolution/smaller screen area at the center. I thought this is the way they managed to put so many polygons in the intro and cutscenes, they looks so good actually.

Timesmanify Summary: Dark Matter has returned to the MilkyWay, with it's first target being the love planet Ripple Star. Ribbon the fairy escapes to PopStar to tell Kirby about Dark Matter's return. However, upon her arrival to PopStar, the many Crystal Shards get scattered throughout the MilkyWay, some of which are possessed by Dark Matter. Waddle Dee, Ado (from Kirby 3) and King DeDeDe get infected, but apparently, violence can reverse the infection.
