No shoulder strap was offered with the basic tools starting with this model, because I believe the size of the G3's motor unit was too large to adequately support the strap.

Hi Elliot. You can put the tools you use the most in the kaddy wherever works best for you. Most of the tools will fit in more that one spot to make it easy to customize it as you like.
