Flare Gamer 64, The Retro Dedede He was tough for me my first time since I tried to fight with what was given since I couldn't adjust to the change in footing back then...and then I thought to bring U.F.O. into the fight. On a Cane only playthrough though, he's the hardest one of the bosses (Daroach is up there since he takes surprisingly little damage from the Cane, least from what I was noticing).
The room you fight Dedede in (as well as the castle itself) are clear references to the anime. The machine in the background looks like Nightmare's delivery system.
GiggleWisp Honestly they did that in Nightmare in Dreamland and it still messes me up to this day tbh "Is this meta Knight's theme? Or is this Dedede???"
I love the fact that they designed Dedede's room after the anime. makes you wonder if he might have been the one who ordered the treasure chest with Dark Nebula inside through that transporter.
This game is my childhood. Please tell me that I am not the only one who was stuck in Meta Knight for 3 months. Hardest Boss in this game in my opinion: 1. Meta Knight 2. Mecha Kracko 3. Dark Daroach 4. Dark Nebula 5. Daroach 6. Bohboh 7. Yadogaine 8. Mrs. moley 9. King Dedede
I don't actually upload there's a theory that the anime is canon to this game as you can see the monster teleporter in dededes fight and in Kirby quest you can see escargoon and in the anime meta knight was dededes royal guard
brug cause he ain’t working for the squeaks or fighting out of malice lol. Him and Dedede were both fights that Kirby could’ve avoided but misunderstood.
I find it dumb that Kirby just randomly assaulted Dedede because his cake got stolen. Also Yadogaine reminds me of how you fight the Huge Hermit in Metal Slug 3.
Funny that this video would pop up in my feed because I just picked up Squeak Squad just to play it again. Man, that was during the times when you couldn't block or dodge attacks with a button. Also, why would you stand above a hole when Mrs. Moley goes airborne when she can be damaged landing on the solid rock part?
in my opinion I think it's rather weird that it was harder for me to beat meta knight and krako then it was to beat the final boss and by final boss I mean both fights
Judging by this statement, you have never played Kirby. In almost every mainline Kirby game, the final boss is battled with an end game ability that is only given to you at this point in the game, only for the battle. You are forced to get it, and you can't dump it. Main examples of final abilities are: Star Rod (Kirby's adventure), Rainbow Sword (Kirby's Dream Land 2), Love-Love Stick (Kirby's Dream Land 3), Ribbon's Crystal (Kirby 64). Here, the end game ability is the Triple Star.
He's using a technique where he doesn't rely on copy abilities, but rather the projectiles and stars that the bosses create. If he does use a copy ability, he'll use it as a projectile eventually because it does a lot of damage
It's a good game, considering it was the only one to have special extra moves for copy abilities that you need to collect. It had a new feature of storing abilities, projectiles, and health. It also allowed you to change your color, turn into a ghost, and increase your max health bar.
Fireofthetiger/ /FireTiger818 There's also the scrolls which I think paved the way to expanding Kirby's abilities in Return to Dreamland/Triple Deluxe/Planet Robobot as well as the fact that it went brought back the Super Star style of abilities where one ability could do several things unlike most of the Kirby games between the two where most of the abilities were "push button to do thing" and that was all.
