Hahaha! Those drawings are a treat, poor Kirby looks like ET. Kirby's Adventure was my first self-owned game I got for my birthday, so I will always love him for being that great game in a tough time. Didn't know about that Gamecube Kirby-Tilt game, but I think the Kirby series really work well on the handhelds anyway. Please do more! I think the Trivia at the end was a good idea, always love those and behind the scenes stuff or concept drawings.

Really enjoyed the video, Kelsey. I have a couple of suggestions if you'll hear me out. The first is to slow down your speaking speed just a notch. Because you've already written out what you're going to say there's no mental buffering that occurs when we compose our sentences as we speak. If you knock it down by just a beat (just half a breath), it will sound like normal conversational speech. Secondly, while I'm not necessarily opposed to watching you speak for eleven minutes, more full screen shots would both break up the long stretches and hide the various edit cuts. (There is also software that will use voice recognition to turn your laptop into a teleprompter.) Great start and your knowledge of import only titles should make this an interesting series. I look forward to more!

Kirby is one of my favorite series. Kirby Superstar is one of the best co-op games of all time, and I have a lot of memories playing it as a kid. I finally got return to dreamland 3 over the weekend at PRGE, which was the last game of the main series I needed for the collection.

Great video! I love Kirby, You're great at speaking, and have a very pleasant voice, it's always nice to learn new things and it's best to learn facts from a kick ass person with a great speaking voice

First off congrats on the channel. I've really enjoyed the buying guides on Metal Jesus Rocks' channel and am looking forward to this channel's content. I've also really liked how experimental Kirby games are. Aside from the traditional ones there were so many interesting ideas explored with Kirby as a ball and unique mechanics like in Canvas Curse. I can't think of any other franchise that has tried so many different types of gameplay.

Kelsey, I would lobe to see more of these vids!! I haven't realised until now how interesting I find gaming history..

Good vid Kelsey, couple of points: maybe lower background music volume so we can hear your voice a little clearer and work on the positioning of your script, looks a little strange as your looking slightly above the camera. Totally appreciate this is your first video & done a much better job that I could ever do. So keep up the content & you've gained a new Sub from me - as you have always been one of MJR guests that has interested me the most. Great stuff 👍🏻

Kirby Superstar on SNES for life, I can't get enough of it. I find myself always going back and playing it or just listening to the music to cheer me up.

I liked the video. The DS and 3DS reviews on Metal Jesus Rocks were also great. This one was fun to watch and concise, but not rushed. If you may please include games' names written on the screen, it could be helpful for some (I part watched it, part listened).

Great first video! i'm a massive kirby fan but to my knowledge i have not yet seen a retrospective of the kirby franchise, loved it! My only constructive criticism would be to lower the levels of the music and bring up the level of your voice. otherwise i really enjoyed it ! :)

Good stuff, maybe a touch of the c. indica before filming, or slow down the prompter, but that's just me and I'm loving your channel! LOTS of great info and wonderful presentation attitude.

In terms of the reading - depending on what camera you're using, try a company called Parrot Teleprompters. They make small, inexpensive prompters that fit to a camera's lens and the content is fed through a smartphone. If using Android, they also do a small remote that controls the speed and size of the text. I've used them when presenting videos for SEGA and they work well (although do take a little getting used to). If you're using a small video camera (instead of a DSLR) then that won't really work unless you're able to fit it to the lens somehow; but also - if you're currently not using a DSLR, I wouldn't recommend switching as the gain is so bad on them, if you don't know what you're doing you'll end up with a horrible background hiss which is a nightmare to try and get rid of. At the moment your audio is good - it just has a bit too much echo. If you can get an external mic closer to you then you can fix that.

Great job! Your one of the few who show love to handheld games, I hope to see some PS Vita episodes from you in the future.

Great first video! The only advice I can give is to keep working on editing. You've already pretty much got the hang of it though, so I'm sure the little things will come with time. :)

I like that Kirby he was originally a Lolo {Roro} type clone, but redesigned for side scrolling. I've always been a big Lolo/Eggerland fan. HAL Laboratory's first superstar. I love seeing his and Lala {Rara}'s guest appearances in the Kirby games.

Great video! I live on Europe so we didn't get Kirby's dream collection here so I had to ask back then (I wasn't 18 yet and didn't have means to order it online) my uncles that live the US to send me a copy of the game so I could play it, I loved it so much, it was my introduction to kirby but I really loved getting to experience the series, really fun games. Also please continue the videos!
