And then if they die they can just eat some fruits and get a new colour change with even more lasers and if that fail they just can rip their head off the flower and teleport like crazy and become a giant fireball
That was genuinely hilarious. It’s also funny because I’m pretty sure this is the first Kirby game to have Kirby pissed on both versions of the box art
That bit at the end where it keeps going between Kirby and Sectonia made me think: Sectonia: Don't you do it Kirby: I'mma do it Sectonia: Don't you d- Kirby: *BURP* Sectonia: DAMN IT
Kirb: IMA FIRE MAH LAZURR!! Sextonia: No please!! Have mercy!! Kirb: Bye bye Sextonia: NOOOOO- Kirb: BWAAAAA- Sextonia: *screams in agony* "Back in the 90's, I wa-💥"
When I told my friend who never played Triple Deluxe about Queen Sectonia, his first reaction when he heard the name was, 'Wait, so King Dedede has a wife?' xD
deathworm2000 The anime? I'm sure it was discontinued long time ago. But the _Kirby_ games make constant references to it, such as Escargoon and someone else making a cameo in Mass Attack and Dream Collection including 3 episodes of the anime in it.
Looking back on this one, sectonia didn’t just poof away like other bosses, she got completely vaporized, and you can see her body slowly disintegrate in the cutscene
MegaAnimazing the final bosses in Kirby games lately have been epic as all he'll. magalor: this fight really fits well with the "trying to save the universe" feel. He has a variety of attacks, badass designs, and epic music. sectonia: She has a sad backstory, and she has epic music, the fight was done well, and her designs were epic. star dream: I can't even begin to describe how good this fight is, it did everything right in my opinion, fromnstory behind it, boss designs, variety in attacks, epic music, and the entire fight is exciting, never once did I feel bored during the fight, and the last 20 seconds of the fight rivals the final scene of this fight.
when this game came out i was 11, and i remember being genuinely surprised and scared of kirby's scream of terror when he gets thrown around like that it feels like the impact of that voice clip is diminished when every kirby game uses it now
12:28 I just finished this game yesterday.....the ending was fantastic. It was incredible how Kirby sucked up Queen Sectionia's energy beam, with his mouth (of course, it's what Kirby is all about). They looked at each other for a few seconds, then Kirby unleashed the energy beam from his mouth, right back at the Queen. The mega blast VAPORIZED her.....it was magnificent.
I'm new to the Kirby franchise But i know it won't be a kid game since Nintendo has done so many crazy things to the other SUPPOSEDLY KID GAMES But sadly Kirby is one of the most underrated nintendo game because most people think Kirby is a kid game
even more, the game goes into so much detail about the plot, it makes it clear and the unexpected can happen. for instance, the fact that the dreamstalk could have destroyed popstar had Kirby not defeated queen sectonia. And for me, playing Kirby games over 5 years really moved me. to see all the friendships Kirby made, and how he learned and became stronger than ever imaginable. Kirby isn't just for kids.
12:22 fun fact: the inhaling sound effect it actually originated from Kirby’s return to dreamland but it it was never used in game, you can hear the exact same sound that the inhale makes in the sound test in KRTDL, so I guess they used it in this game instead I guess...
There are chosen abilities of Kirby's that are one of the easiest to use against a boss For example: Flowery Woods: Beetle/Fire Paintra: Bell Kracko: Leaf/Ninja Coily Rattler: Bell/Wheel Pyribbit: Bomb Taranza/Masked Dedede: No ability/Bell Queen Sectonia( 1st part): Hammer Queen Sectonia ( 2nd part): No ability Queen Sectonia( 3rd part): Bell/Leaf ( *MUST READ*: THIS IS ONLY MY OPINION!!! I'M JUST TRYING TO BE HELPFUL!!!)
Hazel Fireflight I LOVE to use the fighter abilitie for EVERYTHING!. so it's my main abilitie for kirby. (and sorry for spelling abilitie wrong if i did.)
I really love Final Boss themes, especially when they go off hard and/or give off the tone of the fight perfectly. That’s the reason why A World To Win is my favorite song out of the whole Kirby franchise next to Blowout Blast’s Dedede Theme and Floral Fields.
“ Now then, hero of the lower world. You would risk your life for this land? You would stand against me, the ruler of the heavens? Very well... You will bow before the great Queen Sectonia! My beauty rivals the divine... And my power will crush all that you hold dear!” - Queen Sectonia • Kirby: Triple Deluxe
So I tried doing a no-damage fight too, thought I’d comment my findings here: - Normal Sectonia in phase 2 is hard, mainly because of the minions. Leaf is far better than Archer here for close-range (and not accidentally dash attacking off the platform), and does about as well as Archer in both first and third phase. - Flower Sectonia can be very easily cheesed with Archer, because Camouflage is op and long-range attacking is a very good thing to have here. Using Leaf’s a tad more difficult. - Infinite invincibility moves are epic, thus why I’ve only mentioned Leaf and Archer thus far. I haven’t tried using Stone, because the former two offer far better attack options.
"My beauty: unparallelled. My wisdom: boundless. My rule: Absolute. Everything else is subject to decay. Those who refuse to fight will kneel, and those who refuse to kneel will perish. This is who I am." damn i hope sectonia say that before the battle :/
Yeah Kirby uses cute characters and lighthearted atmosphere to hide the fact that it has dark and mature themes believe it or not. Was surprised to actually see blood and learned a character (Zan)actually tried to commit suicide! Don't judge a book by it's cover is a truth in Kirby lol.
Friendly reminder that Queen Sectonia, was kirby’s only foe that ever made him scream in helplessness, not a corrupt monarch, not a demon jester, not the concept of nightmares, not an interdimensional capitalist prick, not a reality bending machine, and not even the father of all pure good and evil in the universe. No, just a goddam 🐝
The fact that Kirby is this power powerful kind of scares me like the fact that he takes a literal gods is very scary. If I met him in real life, I’d be chill with him. I just wanna hang out with him that much cause I don’t wanna die.
You wanna know the scariest part of Hypernova? He swallowed the health bar! If Kirby is able to tear that off from the HUD into his mouth is practically nightmare fuel.
Queen Sectonia is like Satan of the Kirby series. What they both have in common is that they play god, lust for beauty and power to become an omnipotent being, fell from grace after being consumed by evil energy or malice, show no respect for inferiors, want to rule the world, act very narcissistic, and are perfect examples of complete monsters.
As much as I love the final face off between Kirby and Sectonia, Is nobody gonna talk about another Kirby and D3 panic scene at 2:25. (Kirby adventure veterans should recognize this)
BlueChilidog you own the best games. Get KSSU the remake if you don't have it and that's all you need honestly. The other games are good but not AMAZING like either of these staple titles. K64 is sluggish and only single moves for powers. DL3 is clunky and same issue. The experimental Kirby platfomers are new and good but not really the true Kirby experience. KSS is truly the highlight of the franchise. It's like Kirby's Sonic 2 or Super Metroid. Like the BEST. KSSU the remake is AWESOME and Triple Deluxe is a more polished and refined version of Return to Dreamland. It's got better level design and unlockable modes. It's multimoves way of doing powers is highly influenced by KSS. Hopefully a new traditional Kirby game comes out soon on par with these games.
