@@alvaros1562 I think Gilgamesh is more afraid to eat the same food as Kirei. After all Kirei has a habit to offer his food to other people. That partly explains why Gilgamesh is never seen when Kirei is eating.

I finally made homemade Mapo Tofu following a recipe that followed this one pretty closely as described in the VN. Gotta say. I can see why Kirei loves it so much. I'm gonna make this a lot more from now on, cus it's banging. Pretty simple to make too.
I can just imagine Kirei and Ciel having a random meeting (as fellow Church agents), with onlookers gawking at at least three piles each of Mapo Tofu and varied Curry dishes.
Honestly the editing on this makes this scene so much funnier than it should be. I remember watching this scene in the film and just laughing my ass off at how well they adapted this scene. But your edit makes this icing on the cake. Makes me laugh so hard having to watch Kirei uncomfortably eat spicy mapo tofu while Emiya just sits there. Honestly I think I would've rather preferred him eating mapo tofu with more still shots like this just to make that feeling of uneasiness and uncomfortability on the viewer. Like something straight out of a The Office skit lol.
Had mapo tofu for the first time the other day. Can't imagine eating it without rice on the side to help with some of the heat. It was good, but damn eating it straight like this would have killed me.
I think spicy stuff is only bad when it’s ONLY spicy. I’ve tasted slightly spicy things that sucked cause the spice overtook but I’ve also had spice that literally makes me cry (like bawling) as I eat it yet it tastes so good cause their is something alongside the spicy

A year later, almost everything ufotable has animated looks good. God eater, Fate/zero, unlimited blade works, these heaven's feel movies, kimetsu no yaiba... they got the nickname unlimited budget works at some point.

I went to a really nice local Chinese place here and ordered mapo tofu as the lunch special. They only make it one level, but I'm a man who's eaten a ton of mapo tofu before. I decided to eat this one without touching the rice until the end. I had my shirt half unbuttoned and was sweating by the time I finished the plate. It was good though. You could kinda taste every single thing they used over time because the spice starts to numb you.
Ah man of culture indeed, I've seen it after Movie Oath Under The Snow (i'll rate it 8,5/10 for overall series S1-S4+Movie+Phanstasm) it so good that im start reading the manga from Chapter 1 Season 1 till 3rei (idk why but I like Fate Prillya more than HF and UBW)
