R.I.P. Atsuko Tanaka. The first thing that I thought after reading of Ms. Tanaka's passing was this funny sketch and how she was capable of depicting so easily this happy version of Medea.
For some reason Medea getting the extremely happy ending she does in Carnival makes me teary every time. You can just tell all her dreams are coming true one after another. T_T
christian crusader it was always canon though never shown, but sourichi has stated that he felt nothing for his whole life but when he met medea he felt something, and if i recall in one ending he pretended to be ok so medea can die peacefully and after her death he died, in another he could have left but instead chose to continue fighting cause he promised medea he will fulfil her wish
She loved the ring, she liked Hawaii, but she broke down when he admired her figurine. Women seem to like it when their boyfriends appreciate the things they care about
But everyone like when someone appreciate what they care about, like wouldn't teenager George Lucas get happy when someone go to his messed room, read his notes and say: A space opera about wizards and a war in space? This is so cool and original! Would be awesome to watch a show, no, a triology about it.
@@thorbrayshaw1280 It's part of a gag series they did called Fate Carnival Phantasm. They recently came out with a sequel (10 years later, incidentally, as joked about in the first one) based on the mobile game Fate Grand Order, called Fate Grand Carnival. It's all running jokes and stuff
And then you remember she killed her 2 sons in her fit of rage atleast acvording to the myth itself, Have something to do with a guy named Jason who owns a boat named Argo.
@@KePzez Well after the two were involved in the death of her brother (meaning she couldn't ever go back to her homeland), he was gonna divorce her for another woman and take the kids. Which she killed out of jealousy. But seriously, took her from her homeland and was about to abandon her in another country where she wasn't a citizen of. I'd be hella pissed too.
Technically, the only person she's canonically* killed is her original Master and that dude was sacrificing children for magic rituals. *During the events of Fate anyways
Not gonna lie but pretty sure that could describe Kirby as well for he has quite an appetite and is godly strong despite his tiny size as well as overall appearance of a pink marshmallow.
you know regardless of how evil caster was in the unlimited blade works route she deserved an ending like this instead all she wanted was someone who wouldn't be a total jackass and betray her
+Shimon Brand Plus she's much better than the Caster from the previous war that guy was a fucking psychopath though I have to wonder how the Grail would have twisted her wish even something completely benign can be screwed over by all the worlds evils
wow, i never thought it would end so tragically for him. im assuming rin died as well? if she can control the grail why does she keep him in a tank? this is so interesting to me
No wonder Caster didn't particularly want Holy Grail in Carnival Phantasm. She pretty much has everything she wants (although it may seem mundane to others). What she sought were event flags. The racing was pretty good example. After starting the race, she just left the track in the middle to go on her honeymoon.
I only saw medea in fate stay night unlimited blade works and despite her cold and ruthless demeanor, i felt like her actions were that of a lady that just wanted love, acceptance and peace and that she'd do anything needed to make them happen. And seeing her in this episode made me adore her more. What a tragic lady, I hope in some sort of series she gets a happy ending.
@@wolffang489 Lily saddens me. She's Medea from before she realized just how much she had been screwed over by everyone and everything went to hell. She's too affected by Aphrodites' curse to realize just how messed up she is.
Sadly no in the VN, she always die Fate route: both her, assasin and souchiro got killed by Gilgamesh UBW route: dies protecting souchiro from Archer swords HF route: saber killed her...
Especially without the lipstick I'm just iffy about that one I like the all natural beauty of a person that's the only thing that irks me when I summoned her.
That little noise she makes at 1:58 is super adorable, just makes me like Caster even more. Truly, one of the top waifus of the OG fate, maybe even with FGO characters.
Rogue131 In anime never underestimate what a woman is capable of if she can do that to assasins ribs then she can do stuff 10 times worse than the previous statement. A womans wrath is not to be underestimated no matter what the case.
The time loop was caused by Avenger, but everything else was caused by Rin trying to learn the Second Magic and failing in a spectacular manner. Which is why all the routes happened, including the ones that never made it into the game, and all the servants were alive. And Kaleido Ruby was a thing.

caster is actually a nice person, her lore even says that he just act as a witch/bitch because she think there is no other option for her, after all, all her life was a disaster and everybody blamed her for everything.
I believe Caster was suppose to win this Holy Grail War, everything that took place was executed perfectly by her, her only down side was allowing archer to get close. Even archer proved himself NOT trustworthy. Caster is the real winner in my eyes.
