Why does this happen so many times? Andrews brings the toddlers in, THEN expects you grab hold of the ruddy book, as well. Seriously, though, her reaction at the start set the tone for one of the most heart-warming editions of the show I've seen.. And what a guest list singing her praises.
Those toddlers are adults now...probably with kids of their own. And the fact that this is considered one of the most heart warming episodes is saying something about a program(me) that was well known in general to be a heart warming one.

It is so easy for things to go wrong - big costumes , great sets that they can get tangled up in, furniture that collapses mid performance and , that modern phenomenon. special effects that start too early or too late. However at its most synchronized and best there is nothing like a great operatic performance and Kiri has given us her share of those.
