Thanks to this wonderful conductor for his honesty to speak about his inner experiences. Seems to me like a change of leadership paradigm in the world of conductors

Petrenko's appearance has not changed a tiny bit since this, I had to double confirm the video was from 12 years ago. Also love how modest, and even shy, he was but talks with complete confidence when it comes to music making

He looks like both of his parents.I remember him he was child in one of Siberian towns-Omsk where he was born.His father was violinist,mother misic theoretic,great prelecturer.

Sarah Willis has an amazing presence in front of camera, and a natural for interviewing... if she should ever decide not to play the horn any more (which must not be the case by the way) she could read the news on BBC1 in England every day!! she has a beautiful speaking voice and great camera presence....
