He's so right.. The gifted and those who coordinate things in church , those who shine are never really questioned. When they are the ones who sometimes are dealing with the biggest battles secretly.
Rather he be real and not fake. He"s merely giving his testimony. Pray, Kirk being a performer is faced with challenges at times on a whole new different level than we are.
such transparency. many have received freedom because of the "truth" in God's Word of who we really are in Christ.this has helped me tremendeously :-)...praise God!
We in the church get gifted mixed up with talented. Gifts come from God through the Holy Spirit. Everybody is born with a talent there is a difference.
@@kirkfranklin6908 I’m struggling with this same issue! I always try to stop and start right back up again, may I ask where did you go for help and what I should do??
If only all people in Christ would be willing to admit to areas they need help like Kirk Franklin. Only through confessing & turning to God can we truly become free. God's judgment first starts in the house of God." God looks on people's hearts not on the out side." 1 Samuel 16;7 People judge by outward appearance, but the Lord looks at the heart. As long as we keep hidden what we need God 's grace & power to change. We will & our churches will remain sin sick & this will effect our churches, children, wives, & country. God will one way or another bring out: For all that is secret will eventually be brought into the open, and everything that is concealed will be brought to the light and made known to everyone. Luke 8:17; Mark 4:22
I think more people would be open to confess their sins in church, if they didn't have to worry about being judged, ridiculed, shame, condemned, and embarrassed for struggling with sins. Most churches just tell people how horrible and sinful and disgusting they are. And how they are going to end up in hell, if they don't stop engaging in that sin. But we need to get to the root of the issue, and chop it off at the head. So, it will be destroyed.
this is a much bigger problem, even among Christians, than people may realize. I found out that someone in my family who I look up to and appeared to be so devoted to Christ and his family, struggled with porn and I was shocked. I didn't judge him, and still respect him, but I was surprised by it.
Nothing to be shocked, embarrassed, or ashamed about. He's a human being with real flaws and issues. People get introduced to porn in various ways. And it's not an easy addiction to overcome, just like any other addiction.
We ALL have some uncleanness, sin, wickedness and/or have had thoughts unpleasing to the Lord. Anyone that thinks otherwise is lying to him/herself. If we were perfect, we would not need a Savior, who by the way, saved the WORLD. That includes everyone. We are all sinful creatures and have devious and wicked hearts. We have to strive daily to walk upright and righteously in Christ. Instead of judging, let's begin to pray for the ones honest enough to be open and transparent of their wickedness.
Romans 8 18 For I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worth comparing with the glory that is to be revealed to us. 19 For the creation waits with eager longing for the revealing of the sons of God. 20 For the creation was subjected to futility, not willingly, but because of him who subjected it, in hope 21 that the creation itself will be set free from its bondage to corruption and obtain the freedom of the glory of the children of God. 22 For we know that the whole creation has been groaning together in the pains of childbirth until now. 23 And not only the creation, but we ourselves, who have the firstfruits of the Spirit, groan inwardly as we wait eagerly for adoption as sons, the redemption of our bodies. 24 For in this hope we were saved. Now hope that is seen is not hope. For who hopes for what he sees? 25 But if we hope for what we do not see, we wait for it with patience.
The church is our asylum to connect with God. Not to act like we are all perfect and we do no wrong. Thats what happened to the church it stop becoming a deliverance ministry
Even if he still does struggle at least he was brave enough to come out with the problem and not pretend it doesn't exist due to christian perfection ego lol.

That's it??? We all struggle.. Some on different levels and things..we all the same in the end. Nobody is perfect..Only God is. It is a great thing that he gave his testimony.
He's being open but not honest. He seems to be over compensating. acknowledging he is wrong but I dont think he ever stopped. look at him now. something going on with him.
Hazell eyez Something tells me it's more to story then just him loving porn? It's like they both are hush hush about something else he struggling with an it's not just him liking to watch big booty chicks in some porn. I think he got that Donnie MaClurklin thing going. The more he talks about this real struggle he been wrestling with for year's that he can't shake it's just seems alot more than him loving straight porn. Like really, what kind of porn was he watching, gay porn that's what. I'm not judging this man glad he's being honest with his porn addiction but something ain't clean in the buttermilk. sipping ☕
