The food hall is good but it could be fantastic!!....the council need to have a ride to florance or Barcelona see how there inside market does it certainly not half hearted! ....thanks for uploading ❤....bIg up LEEEEDS!!
Great Video. It's a Sad Shadow of it's former self. It upsets me to see The Leeds Market in this state. Leeds City Council have killed it over the years. A part of it died when the fire happened in 1975/76, it's not been the same since. It should be cherished as an important part of the history of Leeds but I can see it being redeveloped in my life time. I'm 63 now, grew up in Armley in the 60's and 70's and spent many a Saturday in Leeds Market, it used to be heaving, so many shoppers, sellers calling out their produce, every shop busy. now look at it, sad, just sad.
