My grandparents lived in Devon and Grandpa worked a few towns over as an optometrist in Exeter. Both have passed on, William and Jean Robertson, but one thing I'm surprised it's not been mentioned is the clotted tea! Yum! I've told my friends about it, idk if I can get a girl group for a trip to the UK? Is there anywhere we could stay for a fortnight? I want to celebrate survival of some serious health issues here in the State's.

Aww my goodness, I have been blown away with this series. It’s inspirational and just so entertaining. All those wonderful people working on beautiful designs making crafts that will last a lifetime (maybe not the cakes, as they’re yummy and need to be eaten). Kirsty has been a wonderful host at showing and working with the crafts showing how any can become involved. I remember in one of her programs (not this series’s ) saying that she wasn’t like Marie Condo, and I’m so thankful that she’s not , although I know she does like to be organised she makes a home come to life. This is not the first time I’ve watched this series, I’ve just loved it so much I keep repeating episodes. Thank you Kirsty for the colour and the wonderful ideas and fun you have brought into my life. No wonder you’re so successful. I look forward to anything you do. Luv from Spain. X

I loved every moment of this series. I tried to buy an old dingy years ago for my garden but the man wouldn’t sell. Over the years I’ve bought some beautiful materials and made curtains, covered chairs. My house has so much antique furniture and I love willow so much I bought a coffin 10 months ago for my sweet husband as I just cannot stand wooden with brass handles. I have to admit I also can’t stand mosaic. Sorry but it squiggles my brain. But you were so clever making your table. My grandmother who was born in 1893 started taking me to auctions when I was just 4. She had a wonderful knack and any of her friends who admired something, she would give it to them. I can still see the little oil painting of a Sydney street on a wet night and all the street light and car lights glowing. Some lucky person has it. You are always so happy. You cheer me up. ❤️

What an amazing journey you had taken us all on. My home, in a small way, is like yours. I have found a $300 water color painting at thrift store for $7.00, hand made pottery for a song, a farm house table for $40 and so on. I feel the love and bring them home to treasure. Your home helped me to realize not always... shiney and new is it! Lol But a home which surrounds you with the precious pieces found from the hunt or created by your own hand represents you and your soul...your life🌻❤🌻

Kirsty started my addiction to beautiful quilts & eiderdowns!! All of my family & extended family are now very warm over the winter🥶‼️ However, lately, eiderdowns have become popular once more & now - the prices!! Every now & then I see a fabulous one that must be added to my never-ending collection. Kirsty’s show, particularly the bedroom episode started it all!!! Thank you Kirsty, Ku Frst Regards, Nina Elizabeth from New Zealand 🇳🇿

I’m 55 and 10 years ago we built our forever home. Most thought I should chuck out the old and bring in the new, but I decided to blend. I kept those items that carried fond memories and started to purchase the things and items that would bring out the old and make them more special. I think the key is keep it simple and clean. It’s fresh and bright; it’s unique and calming. It’s a place you want to sit and chat awhile. It’s works and it makes me feel at home❤

Absolutely delightful. I'm more a multicultural gal myself, and like to include crafts from other cultures, but the reuse and recycle idea is the same. And convivial gatherings are what it's all about. Well, and cupcakes....

They lift my spirits, I ADORE Kirstie ... they are better than ANY medicine. I THANK YOU from the bottom of my Heart! Oh! In the US, estate sales are my favorite, I furnished a lot of my home that way, including rugs, and love the eclectic mix I’ve been able to find. Not auctions, just tag sales, basically.

I love the programme, its pace and mix of skills. Kirsty always admires the abilities of the diferent crafters, and it so good to show their skills that can inspire others, the only thing that makes me a little dessapointed is when Kirsty tries to do something with the crafter and never quite gets it and she self depricates. Keep the programme going. Very enjoyable.

While I have enjoyed every moment of your show...for I put my old cabin together like this...it took yrs, but what I think would have been the most fascinating was your gathering of all the artist in one room. I can't imagine how that must have been. Artist are a special breed of people..love..creativity..and more...oh how interesting that must have been...💫💜💫..well done young lady. I am smiling with my imagination of how this must have been. Again, love this program, and love your home. Thank you 💜💫💜💫💜

Hi Kirstie, I've recently found your fantastic project. As a plant grower in Texas, when you said something about bringing plants inside, I had a dim memory moment. I looked up Snowdrops, and both they and Daffodils have similar poisons in their makeup. In other words, please don't place them on your tabletops where food is near. There are a vast array of plants that are edible, have nice blooms and won't send you or visitors to hospital.
