It’s crazy to think how cold blooded Kisame was when he joined the Akatsuki but when he met Itachi he changed Kisame way of thinking and made him realize he isn’t as bad of a person as it thought he was. Itachi understood how it feels killing your teammates so they knew each other pain. Itachi was Kisame only friend and Kisame greatly appreciated him for it.

Remember when Team Gai had to fight a Kisame’s clone that had 30% of his power. Gai had to use 6th gate to defeat that clone but had to use 7th gate for the real Kisame with his full strength. That means there is a huge difference in power between every gates.

No man he didn't. He used the seventh gate to get a wide blast radius to kill all the sharks so the sharks won't get away he said it himself. He used the sixth gate because Tenten was dying. It's not like kiss me stood a chance. Both times it was 1hKO. The fact that Thor defeats a normal goon doesn't mean it took thor to take down that normal goon. Even black widow could do it.

The fact that Kisame and Itachi were partners really is something else Itachi joined Akatsuki to spy on Akatsuki so that the hidden leaf would be safe Kisame really believes in the goal of the akatsuki, and he will do anything for the akatsuki's mission And yet Itachi, and Kisame were compatible, and had teamwork. They're basically two different Ninjas who have the same principle, to do anything for the task, for Itachi it was leaf's peace, and for Kisame it was akatsuki's goal

This episode also shows how much respect Kisame had for Itachi. After all, in his final moments he thinked about the conversation he had with Itachi. Overall Kisame was always very respectfull towards Itachi in the series and he always followed up the "orders" from Itachi without bitching. You can't say that to the other Akatsuki duo's exept Nagato and Konan. He even was thinking about leaving the Akatsuki after Itachi's death.

5:05 to clarify things; in the Naruto world, what they call Shunshin No Jutsu or also known as "Teleportation Justu", is not what we commonly think of as teleportation. Their "Teleportation" is actually high speed movement assisted by chakra. A good example of this is the Substitution Jutsu. The Ninja uses chakra to make sudden high speed movements and then replaces something in their previous position with a log or an animal via summoning them. This kind of teleportation jutsu and what y'all witnessed with Naruto, is just someone moving from point A to B in a linear fashion really quickly. Now an example of REAL teleportation jutsu would be summoning jutsu, Kakashi's Mangekyo ability and Minato's Flying Raijin where someone pops in and out of existence. But those are classified as "Space Time Ninjutsu" 😁👌🏽

To your point about the Leaf Village pitching the will of fire "don't let your comrades die". Remember that Kakashi's father was driven to suicide by Konoha because he abandoned the mission and saved his comrades instead. So this idea about finishing the mission above all else, is kind of the rule in pretty much all shinobi villages, although some villages are more extreme than others.

Kisame started out as an ordinary ninja but his village made him into trash that betrayed his comrades all his life, so when Madara said i wanted to create a world without lies. he yearned for it, a world where he could perhaps redeem himself but more importantly where hellish circumstances didn't exist that were present in his past. He wore the mark of that dream, akatsuki's ring, with pride. And died pursuing that dream. A world without lies!

Kisame got along with Itachi because Itachi kept it real with him. Never lied to him, told like it is, because Kisame wants to live in a world without lies. Hench why he joined Madara and The Akatsuki. Believing in Madara vision for the world. That's why he said he would've love to see that world. And his sole assignment for his village was doing the dirty job, killing his comrades when they are caught. Carrying that burden. He never had a friend. He just wanted a friend and when Itachi kept it real with him, he gain his respect. But more importantly he gain a friend. That's why it's so interesting. His last moment was him thinking about Itachi his friend, but also keeping to his mission for his comrade. Respect.

Kisame is amazing. His mission was to successfully take that intel away from 3 heavy hitters, Killer Bee (the 8 tails host who easily whooped Sasuke last squad), Naruto (the 9 tails host who just unlocked a new 9 tails mode and defeated pain), and Guy who is a beast of a man and master of the gates formation...and Kisame succeeded.

Yeah, like how kisame definitely didn't hide in samehada to gain info and tell it to madara. He definitely did everything all out in the open with no deceit, just like how itachi told everyone the truth and that's why he and sasuke went against danzo and the uchiha clan is still alive today. Gosh, imagine expecting ninjas to be out in the open and honest to enemies.

He was looking for a reason to keep Naruto in the village and steal the Kyubi from him, he stole shisui's eye and because of that the plan to deter the Uchiha with genjutsu from the coup d'etat without a fight failed. and he forced Itachi, who was only a child, to kill his entire clan and leave Sasuke alive or to support the Uchiha and die with them,he deceived Hanzo and the stone village He caused war between Hanzo and Nagato, Yahiko, and Konan and the stone as well. he made Kabuto and his mother fight each other, the same for Sai and his brother.there no one worst than danzo.kesame is 1000 time better than the scume danzo.

Gai always pretended to not know Kisame’s name because Gai thought that Kisame did not have the values that a true shinobi should have (His father taught him those values) however in the end, Gai “remembers” his name because even though he was "bad" and committed a lot chaos, he rather be sacrificed just to protect his teammates (Akatsuki) like a true Shinobi. That’s what Gau appreciates the most in a person

Kisame is a real one. Hands down the most real ninja in the show in my opinion. Never shied away from a fight and ALWAYS did more than just hold his own. He always was the most successful in the group at catching jinchuuriki alive out of all the members and pushed might guy to use the gates with only 30% of his Kisame chakra and forced might guy to go 7th gate even WITHOUT Samahada...Nah kisame is mad underrated and is a powerhouse
