You are so right after reviewing the race, he did shut it down after 70m and I think it's possible for him to do a 9.6s if he should clean up all the areas you could even see a new 100m world record in the near future.
Boy T the man said he tried to shut it down and nearly drop in the heats. It's like he got some superpower which he got but he hasn't been able to harness all the power n manage it fully, crazy just thinking about when him learn how to control his speed.Big breeze.💥💥💥💥
I saw what he said about being compared to Asafa, and he said it so well. He’s he, and Asafa is Asafa, respectfully. 😂The pressure we place on our athletes is immense. Anyway, I’m just going to wait and see what he and Missa Frano cook up in Paris. He’s definitely a great talent.
As an American, I know Noah has got to be looking at these races, knowing it's going to be hard to get gold or silver. I think you are going to have to clock just under 9.75 to win this time around. Unless Noah can accelerate sooner than the last 40 to 30 meters, I see a bronze medal in his future at the Olympics. Hats off to Jamaica. You all got those guys right just before the Olympics. I see Gold and Silver in yall future for the men 100 meters
Paris track and race conditions are different to Jamaica. I’m waiting until the heats in Paris to observe. Both Jamaican and American teams are looking fast!!
@@RizzFinesse The Paris track and conditions are also different from America too. Noah got beaten on the same Jamaica track by Seville who ran the same time 9.82 that he beat Noah by, for 2nd place at the nationalchampionship. Yet Thompson cruzed by Seville and shut it down with about 30 meters to go and still ran 9.77. Both Seville and Thompson have ran faster than Noah Lyles has ever run:- 9.82 & 9.77 respectively. " Just want to keep it honest."
@@michaelblake1427 My comment above didn’t favor anyone … I said Jamaican and American teams respectively… when they get to Paris in their heats, I’ll then asses and lean towards my pick. Idk if you misinterpreted… so I’m clarifying …just keeping it honest
Kishane has the same potential as a younger exuberant Usain Bolt. However, Kishane has the advantages that Bolt did not have and is the most likely to dip below that magic number. I know it seems impossible, but we will see. Won't we? Just look at him. You know when someone knows that their potential is unlimited. It was like Shericka's reaction after running her best time for the year. Shericka is a cool cookie. Watch how she reacted. What did you think happen? Her body told her something incredible that she wished for years she could find in herself. WATCHOUT FOR SHERICKA. Fraser Pryce is ready to go and train for the Olympics. She will yawn, stretch, get out of bed, and then she will go to work. We know Shelly, don't we?
He needs to clean up on his start because it's obvious his car can get better. If he can get his start on the same level as oblique, it's a Dun Dahdah. As far as where I think he'll end up being at the Olympics. It's a crush between him and oblique. He started slowing down before oblique but oblique didn't seem like he wanted to pass it. He started shutting it down too and he still ran at 10:82 so I believe that oblique Seville will probably run a high 9:7's to a low 9:7's and Kishane a mid 9:7's to a mid 9:6's "Neetli"!!
Kishane is a dangerous athlete..WHY because he still dnt know how to properly run a 100m race..still learning the craft..now when he gets tht experience and MORE confidence..as long as he is healthy..hes DEF a 9.6 runner
All he needs to do at this point is win and stay healthy and not worry about time, we don’t want to see him injured again so you all just stop putting pressure on the guy to push himself too hard .
Definitely 9.6 potential.. At 9.5, he'll have to be immaculate, and I think he'll need more time to develop that and some championships under his belt kinda confidence and realizations. Then I think the 9.5 conversations.. but right now in his novelty and his confession to still learning speed management, the 9.6 mid range (9.67 to 9.64) is def a possible ceiling expectation based on his power and speed at the moment... when he masters speed management its over for everyone!
@k.levarsmith1652 He’s only 22 years old and the controlling of his speed is base on running rounds just enough to advance to the next .. Stephen Francis is very good at teaching that.. if you notice Sharika did just enough to qualify in the 100m final yesterday because she was reserving her energy for the 200M rounds today..
Definitely, I'm seeing a New Olympic Record kinda expectations.. he can definitely challenge that 9.63.. I see it.. 9.77 slowing down into a headwind pushing against you -0.9m/s... thats strength
Seeing him running, listening to him speaking, and knowing the kind of genius that Franno is, if Kishane keeps good health, as well as, execute about seventy percent 9.5's is definitely a realistic prospect. Believe you are on the money Tee.
@courtneyrowe489 Well they don’t normally stay, they eventually all leave even his Assistance coaches all move on to open their own track club’s. I believe frano encourage this it to get new people to spread knowledge throughout the high schools system and professional clubs.. If you notice everybody using the same style of coaching.. I’m sure it didn’t start with frano it wasn’t even a Former athlete, he come in academics. Glen Mills started in coaching football before frano..
This guy has frightened the sh#t out of some of the Americans, they have started to react to him as Carl Lewis reacted to Bolt, remember "Bolt from the blue"?
Please let this man get to Paris and win this gold medal before talking about WR. Alot can change in a month so be patient and hope and pray for the best come August. Ppl can lose form and all kinda crazy stuff like different weather conditions, different food, not recovering well from traveling etc. It's not a done deal till it's done so chill with all the WR stuff. Just want this guy to move forward one Championship at a time.
This will start a new revolution in Jamaican sprinting. I always said Usain Bolt and Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce were part of the golden era of Jamaican athletics, which spanned from the mid-2000s to the late 2010s. However, a new Platinum era is on the horizon. In the next couple of years, by 2026, Kishane Thompson is poised to threaten Bolt’s records, and the Clayton twins, “The Twin Turbo," will be fully loaded and ready to dominate the track. I have pity on those who are not Jamaicans.
Yes T, you were wrong!!! I am happy you were! This athlete has the makings for the next world record wrapped up in his stature, work rate and demeanor. Did you see how dismissive Franno was of him? That’s because he wanted to have that conversation in private. Thompson on the other hand appears to be a coach’s dream. Man was almost apologetic at running as fast as he did and wanted to assure the coach he was running to instructions. World record loading……… when he runs through the line after cleaning up his first three steps Watch out!!!!!
When Franno talk we don’t listen. He said that “Kisanity” - according to one of your subscribers - is an advanced version of Asafa. People start to rail up and talk about disrespecting the sub10 King. But it was no disrespect. It was just Franno being frank (Franno).
For the people saying he can't break Bolt 100m record 😂 if you know T&F any at all you know this man is GREEN. He has the power and the technique but has a bad start and a bad drive phase. If he tightens up both those thing's before Paris Usain St.Leo Bolt is going to be SWEATING.
You guys should stop with the darn asafa comparison, asafa was an underachiever and a choker. Obviously Kishane himself do not like the comparison, he said it in the nicest most diplomatic way he could.stop jinx Di man.. Di man name Kishane Thompson
9.58 is about 10 feet in distance from a 9.77 by calculations. Analyze it by bolts world record race and see Bolt beat Gay by 0.13 secs and Gay beat Powell by 0.13. Its estimated there was 13 feet between Bolt’s 9.58 and Asafa’s 9.84. He has to make up another 10 feet.
😮 you might not call it pressure but it is.. If you watched the Interview with Bolt/ Powell.. Then you m9ght under how what we say as a people affect these guys mental state. He's a great young talent and i just want him to stay healthy and focus.. I hope he doesn't well this summer..
How tall is he? The only way anyone getting close to that 9.58 is an immaculate start and matching Bolt stride prowess. I give him 9.68. But sheesh, we came back strong this year. This is going to be the fastest 100m final in Olympic history. Final lineup: will be 3 Africans, 3 Jamaicans, and 2 Americans.
Kishane Thompson.... Kishane first 50m is better than Bolt, Bolt last 50m is unmatched. What Kishane need is speed maintenance endurance, he can achieve this, by doing more 150m straight. If he gets his last 50m close to Bolt, Ladies and gentlemen we are looking at 9.55. I don't this that Paris track is that fash, he many only manage a 9.65 at Paris, however, with the push from Noah and Seville, we could see a new world record at Paris.
@@roylle6346 yeah, but my point was they both slowed down. It's about qualifying for Paris. Siville lost the last JA trials too, but was the only one to make the finals at worlds
To echo what someone else said..... Lets start with Olympic Gold before we start talking about world records. Olympic gold has way more value and clout because you can never take that away.....World records were meant to be broken.
I still believes in oblique..oblique would have win...he got a faulty start..almost drop . His acceleration got messed up. Who got eyes to see will see...
My favorite male sprinter is Noah Lyles. Yes, I’m an American 🇺🇸. I never supported or was a fan of any Jamaican sprinter. Not a fan of Seville. I’m definitely not a fan of the GOAT “Usain Bolt”. But, for the first time in my life, I will be cheering for a Jamaican name Kishane Thompson . The catch is, I’ll be rooting for him when no Americans are in the race. The reason why is because I want y’all Jamaicans stop bragging on Usain Bolt. If Noah Lyles doesn’t break Usain’s record, then I hope Kishane Thompson breaks Usain record.once this happens, Usain Bolt is history.
@@petergreen5242 Yea it is. The reasons is because he’s the G.O.A.T. However, once someone breaks the record. The record holder is history. Usain Bolt retired too early. Once the record is broken, Usain Bolt will be erased and he will be history and silent 🤫.
If kishane had run hard the 9.73 would've been official.love T optimism naah lie but a world record is not possible right now,Even for a kishane (base on your heading)
@@LifeissuesDLYAgreed. 9.5 is delusional after seeing someone run 9.77 (9.7 high). I wouldn’t even talk about 9.6 until I see a runner go 9.7 low a couple of times.
9.5???? Don't let a couple of good races cloud your judgement or skewer your thought processes. He is a big man. It takes a lot of energy to carry all of that down the track. There is a good chance he will be tired by the time he gets to Paris.
@jimwagner9522 The same was said about Usain Bolt when he first got on the scene, he was too tall with his body frame it won’t work the same exact thing you are saying now about Kishane, look we all can’t see his raw talent ..
OHHH WELLLLL BLAME COACH MILLS CONSISTENT INSTRUCTORS PULLLLLL 🆙 N SHUT ITDWN 🏃 RUNNING STYLE SADLY PRACTICE MAKES PERFECT KISHANE NEED2 EMULATE USAIN BOLT N TEBOGO IF ANYTHN HE NEEDS2 HIT HIS ACCELERATE BUTTON TOP SPEED NEARING THE FINAL FINISH LINE
Kishane Thompson first 50m is better than Bolts first 50m, Bolts last 50m is unmatched. Kishane needs more 150m straight to get close to Bolts last 50m. With the push from Noah and Seville we could see a 9.55 come Paris. Kishane pickup is unreal. The best is yet to come
Personally, I think Oblique has more potential to challenge the record. This is due to him never really running through his races, which is getting annoying, and his sprint form.
*From no track history to 9.5? Kishane Thompson is an Engineered Lab Rat, Jamaica's desperation for "track glory" is becoming evident. Steven Francis is not coaching or training runners but "creating" and "engineering sprinters at his MVP location.*
Well to be fair he ran 9.85 last year and has run 9.77 this year not 9.5. Wasn’t it Knighton from the US who tested positive for a banned substance recently but was let off suspiciously too easy?
@@Nubako463Unless he tests positive I wouldn’t point a finger at the young man. Knighton has tested positive but claimed it’s contaminated oxtail. Point a finger in the right direction if you’re gunna.
