Pranam to the great tabla player. Although i have not heard him personally. But have heard lot about Indorekar ji and his accompanyment from Vidushi Padmatai Talwalkar🙏🙏🙏
I have been a big fan of Pt. Narayanrao Indorkar 's accompaniment. So very artistic, extremely understated and complemented the main artist. So much so that I can almost recognise his tabla on old records of Kishori ji, Pt. Jasraj ji's HMV labels and many more.
Her voice stirs the soul . Throughout the performance it feels as if she is asking you to wake up and have a journey with her . A journey inside the self through swaras. With her spell of music she carries everyone with her to an altogether different world of blissfulness. This is called magic . This is called divinity. 🙏
My most favourite female singer in hindusthani vocal. Had a great fortune and opportunity to listen to her just before her death, God bless her noble soul 🙏
For me, the slow tempo treatment of the raag is amazing. In my very humble opinion, the choice of addha taal in the drut bandish dilutes the grandeur of this expansive raag. That said, her tunefulness & 'taiyyari' are brilliant, in this rendition.
@@ArchismanMozumder far be it for me to contest the opinion of someone who’s done such a great service by uploading this gem. I harbor no such qualms about the tala - however, If you (and the general audience) will indulge me, I’d like to mention that this bandish by her used to feature extensively in a Nepali radio programme (alongside a dadra: rangi saari gulaabi chunariya re) which provided a lot of us with our first proper exposure to high quality classical music so it’s very dear to us in this form. Thanks again!
There is a tremendously humbling effect of her rendition on me - I am almost reduced to a non existent state - I guess this is the closest I will get to deep meditation
This is, in my humble opinion, one of the pinnacles of Bhoop. Only Ganasaraswati Kishori Amonkar could do this. The way she handled Raag Bhup was unique and the sheer brilliance that she displayed in that Raag made sure that her name would always be brought up when anyone talks about Bhup.
Im kindof addicted to this redention cause its so so beautiful. Like at bed, while studying to focus its very very beautiful. Its the best description of raag bhoop I've seen till date......
It feels like I know every verse and note of this even when I never heard of it... how could this even be!!!! Am I in presence of the supreme Being!!!???
I listened to this composition many times before but now the experience is of being in the presence of divinity ,tears are rolling down of eternal fulfillment 🙏👏
Initially this Bhoop Raag was sung by Maa Godess Saraswati herself.Since such Devine Meledious Bhoop could be heard and Could be listened by few Spiritual Aatmaa only in their Meditation directly from Heaven , Almighty Godess Saraswati in her Incarnation in the form of Kishori Tai Aamonkar has made it available for Gaan Saadhakas and Listeners . असा भूप यापूर्वी कधी कुणी गायला नाही आणि यापुढेही कुणी गाऊ शकणार नाही. एकमेवाद्वितीय भूप राग.
I've been hunting for this ever since I saw the documentary Bhinna Shadja. This recording is the first two minutes of the documentary. Goosebumps every time.
Yes, first odd one and half minute of mesmerizing bhoop brought me here. It sets mood of the documentary. Great choice to start with the documentary. This 20 minute version is pristine in quality. Bliss. Can't thank @Archisman Mozumder enough for this recording....!
Heavenly voice, heavenly song, only can kishorji sing with such a touch of God.... hearing this sort of raga,'s expression one feels the touch of heaven, really can't be expressed in word. Mohan Kumar Basu
"You cannot segregate ” feeling ” in life from “feeling” in art; for their roots go right down to that land which everyone owns but no one knows-i.e. the human mind." Kishori Amonkar.(10 April 1932-3rd April 2017)
Yes this that divine siund, the music of the Gods, the Amar Sangeet !👌 Swarga Sangeetham , let us drink and drink, still the thurst will never get satiated👌👏
This is a treasure trove, PURE GOLD! I am out of words to express the sentiments I exude every time I hear Kishori Ji's rendition of Bhoop. And Narayan Ji's tabla, Sarangi maestro's (please let me know who the maestro is) accompaniments are beautifully complementing the performance.
Someone in this colomn aptly said it appears as if Kishoritai asking the listener to travel along with the Waves of Swaras of the raga that is being sung by her. What else could be said about Great Kishori Tai. May Her Tribe Increase! Suresh Sankolli
If I am not wrong, This particular concert is the first concert after her prolonged Voice disability. And if it is TRUE , look at her confidence and the perfection level that she has maintained throughout.....🙏🏻.. She was really Great...,🙏🏻
