Yeah idk what happened to him over the last 2 games. He's just not the same player he was from previous games. He was a top 3 player in every single game until recent. Now he's consistently dropping 0.8-0.9.
He definitely is like a head case type that loses full easily...regardless nobody runs the entry sub role better than he does. Plus when he's on the team goes from really good to insane.
I’d argue this was Faze running into a very hot Subliners team rather than some of the chokes we’ve seen over the years throughout Vanguard and the tail end of MW2. I don’t think any team would have stopped NYSL on Sunday regardless who made the final.

People call optic floptic then faze can only be described as the biggest grand finals chokers ever. 1 of the biggest issues faze has is there coms you can barely understand what any are saying to each other , 😊prime example cellium reminds me of even Baxter from bruce almighty . If faze sorted out there coms alot more they would win more . 2nd issue with faze is the team chemistry is starting to fade more the last few years and I think next year we will see big changes to faze

The bias is CRAZY optic, Toronto and faze all basically had the same years after major 3. Optic had a 7-0 online came 2nd then went 6-1 online came 1st. Somehow they weren’t consistent but faze and Toronto were? Ok
I bet even if faze had hydra and hydra was frying and they were getting 2nds, people like ben and zoomaa would scapegoat him over holding the trio accountable, even scrap and hydra can't get this faze to close out the finals

I think it’s way simpler when it comes to faze losing grand finals, Celliums play style isn’t winning call of duty and they simply just don’t have the ice
Love faze but idk. They obviously do care but it seems like they just brush it off. If it didn’t happen so much it would be a different story but it happens toooo much. Also they seem to not regain very well. When they get put into a blender they don’t get out
7:19 are we ready to discuss the competition in cold war also just being worse? Empire broke down, optic played like ass, NY just got hydra and were dealing with his emergence. Literally the only team to "rival" faze was ultra who was a rookie insight, young cleanX, and bance/cammy. Faze literally had no competition in cold war and its time we start factoring that into their legacy. They all had dominant years in CW cant take that away from faze, but their greatest competition was not that strong. When they have actual competition (like in MW,VG,MW2,MW3) they are extremely quiet in finals/sundays
You can make the same point for any team in any cod title. There really has only been 2 to 3 teams every year who actually stand a chance at winning the title so there's no point in taking away any teams win for playing lesser competition. Plus everybody looked like shit because that faze team was absolutely dominant so no need to take away from the fact they did what they were suppose to do and won pretty much everything that year

Thats my point, Empire (2019), 100t (VG), Optic/NY (MW2), and now NY,Ultra,Optic have all taken their turns out classing faze who are celebrated as the strongest roster ever. Nobody in their right minds thinks those three out talent faze, yet here we are the 3rd title in a row (and 4th out of 5) in the CDL where faze is consistently out worked on sunday
Congrats to NY man. As an OpTic fan I knew the way they celebrated after the major 3 victory was a concern. They acted like they had already conquered the world and a fall off was inevitable.
As a faze fan, this trio is pathetic. I hope hydra or scrap never join faze, they are gonna ruin their careers and i also hope simp leaves to a better place.

For all these reasons we're talking about for Faze not winning in finals, i have the true answer. Most of the time Faze makes finals, they go through winners. I dont want to make excuses for them but tbh, in this format, coming through losers is a bigger advantage simply because of momentum. I want to see a stat of how many teams have won coming through winners vs losers in the cdl era. Terrible format we have. Should be 2 best of 5s simple as that.
I'm an OpTic fan and even I don't think they're winning champs this year. They need to hire a sports psych coach or someone to force these guys to build some damn teamwork.

Faze - I think Faze are not able to go to the next level in performance. Their coasting ceiling is soo high that they’re unable to break that ceiling come Sunday when teams from losers break their ceiling and are hot from game to game during the weekend. Optic - in my opinion Optic got too big in their heads. Their ego grew too big for their own bodies and the COD gods were unhappy with that hence T12. They released 50 videos on their just 1 major win since Major 1 Vanguard. Their fall from grace has to be studied because it was diabolically catastrophic. Ultra - I just think ultra got complacent in thinking they can beat any team outside of T4. We gotta start talking bout Envoys performance all year because wtf. Subliners - They won. Kismet is the key for them. He started playing creddys a lot this major lol
Can't use mental block as an excuse the amount of majors they should've won in Vanguard and Champs alone is crazy..They just shut down if they make a change they better not drop Drazah because without him besides CW they aren't beating Optic. Might have to agree as much as I love cell. I think it might be similar to a dashy problem. Cell and dashy are both super gross but can’t win important series to win majors. Even with godly teams.

Faze are serial grand final chokers and they have no excuse. I do think conversations regarding Ultra and maybe Optic on Sunday need to start soon as well if they keep losing. In this case, I don't like the double standard applied to Faze and Ultra on their sunday performances. How can you say Ultra just lost to a hot new york and not apply that narrtive to Faze? Either say both are having trouble on Sundays or say both lost to a hot team but you can't have it a different way for each one.
I just checked but since the beginning of vanguard faze have finished (1st) 2 times, (2nd) 7 times, (3rd) 6 times and has come lower than 3rd if u only include main events and champs. This shows a clear confidence issue imo as when faze are in winners bracket they have a super high confidence but once they reach lower bracket or grand finals they cant afford to lose and they lose their confidence.

Fazes problem is they are so talented that they speed run a lot of teams and when a team actually fights back they don’t know how to handle it that’s why they are so bad in grand finals they r clearly the most talented team in the league but they have no ice and they don’t know how to fight through adversity when they get hit back they don’t know how to handle it
not only do FaZe crumble in the grand finals it seems to be the same thing if they loser winner finals and drop to losers finals they seem they just end up getting double rounded.
His team made champs best point placement and he stepped up arguably when it mattered most and gave them two huge winner bracket series wins and put them into a good spot for champs. The other guys on the other teams who are rookies except for Abuzah didn’t do that.

wrong, we dont care about how many kills you have in the entire season, you arent judged by that whatsoever. not only that, NY havent placed as high as faze did overall in the season and got last place in a previous major. faze hasnt. he also doesnt have that high of a K/D agains the top 4. other than this major, they have been looking like the 4th place team.
It’s a whole season award. Both have an event MVP to boast but NYSL have a T12 placing on the year while Faze have the best average placing as a team, largely due to Simp’s consistency throughout the year. Hydra deserves to be in the conversation, he’s just a little too late into the conversation imo.

I don’t think they care about becoming a Dinasty(the players) only the fans talk about that, wether you call Faze a Dinasty or not, they have semented themselves as the best team the CDL has had, based on tournament wins and placings.
I understand faze chokes finals and that’s a big problem they need to fix. However, I can’t stand optic fans saying they have the same number of chips in the past few years when faze has way more earnings, better average placing and in general more success. Can’t believe these guys haven’t gone underground after their team got dead last.
well traditionally CoD comp success is measured by chips, not money/regular season placings. For faze to be CELEBRATED the way they are and for optic to be CLOWNED for flopping meanwhile both teams have the same chips success in the last 3 years is pretty ironic. Obviously for us outsides the prize money is nearly unfathomable, but for guys on 400k a year contacts, with sponsorships the money is nice, but they prize is championships and being the best, Not being content with 2nds

@@himaghnaguha6304 it all depends on champs, NY got two top12s in mw2 and 2 chips and a ring. After champs if faze gets top3 and optic flop out and they both end with one chip, sure faze gets the tie breaker because of the regular season, but no amount of regular season success over takes a chip.
We need to stop with the "competitive era" talk lol. Its a 4 team league which was cemented by the fact that the top 4 each won a major lol. This league is ass, we need 16 teams. "oh but the new 4 teams are going to be plumbers" no they wont, theres tons of good players in challengers that have a low chance to get in, expansion will allow way more new talent to come in.

From a FaZe fan. I have no idea wtf happens on Sunday. I’ve had my hopes up so many times and been let down too many. My expectations are through the floor at this point. 🫠 like where does a lack of Ice even come from. They are the most skilled team in every game but can’t handle the pressure. You’d think they’d be used to pressure by now but maybe they are just mentally checked on Sunday because of the past. I wish we had picked up crim after vanguard I thought maybe we would but it was probably never a conversation.
