Its not Christmas but we can have Christmas in July with Oh Holy Night by PTX, they blew that oe right out of the park.

This was on their latest Christmas album, if you can believe it! They have a tradition for including non-Christmas songs every year, because basically they've done every Christmas song known to man! Even though it's not Christmas, would suggest you dive into last year's album now!! O Holy Night, Christmas time is here/pure imagination and please, Santa, please are the most notable tracks. Watch the vevo versions, as well as the videos! You won't be sorry! 🎄

Bass Gang is amazing, they are a group of 4 bass singers. I believe at least some of their songs might be acappella, but they don’t have a dedicated beatboxer. I am not sure who does the beatboxing in their acapella songs... One that I think you would really enjoy is their cover of If I Had. Heart.

Bass gang are all professional bass singers. They also did a hide and seek cover with lauren. It's creepy.

To hear Kevin with so percussive beats while also playing a FLOW with the cello at the same time is insane... The bass is Matt. When Avi left PTX it could have broken them. Finding Matt was a blessing - he takes them in a slightly different direction, opening them up to different music. He isn't BETTER than Avi, just different. Like the difference between electric bass and acoustic bass.

You don't need live comments covering THIS video to keep RCA from hitting you with a DMCA violation; this is the live Vevo recording of "Kiss From a Rose," emphasis on "live." It isn't an official video, so RCA doesn't own the copyright. That's Matt whose name you don't know. As in, the bass. Hard to believe that a bass is singing that high, isn't it? IMO, Matt Sallee has the greatest range of any member of Pentatonix, past or present. Kevin's acoustic cello is named Beyoncé, but this is his electric cello. He had planned to call it "Jay-Z," but his mom likes "Mr. Carter" better. Meet Mr. Carter. Have you noticed how many Christmas albums #Pentatonix has put out? Well, Pentatonix has. More specifically, they've noticed that they're running out of Christmas songs they haven't already covered. So in 2023 Kirstin wrote "Please, Santa, Please," which gave them one new song for the album, but that was far from enough. So they decided to name it "Greatest Christmas Hits" and re-release a bunch of songs from their previous Christmas albums. They did re-record "O Holy Night," which they had originally released in 2012, in order to take full advantage of Matt's incredible range (good call - I think the new recording is Grammy-worthy), and then they looked around for non-Christmas songs to add. They chose "Kiss From a Rose" on the grounds that it mentions snow. And yes, this is a Seal song. Don't bother asking what it means; Seal has refused to say, several times. He's even refused to clarify whether the first line of the chorus is "Baby, I compare you to a kiss from a rose on the grey" or "Baby, I compare you to a kiss from a rose on the grave."

Great reaction. And yes, I believe Kevin used the pedal just before his solo to change the sound of the cello to be more electric sounding. His “baby” shows he can sing very high as well ❤❤❤❤❤

To someone who said they use instruments in their tracks. If they use an instrument you will see it in the video. KO also plays the cello in their cover of Shallow. Most of the time it is their incredible vocals making the "instrument" sounds.

This song is interesting in itself bc of the key that it's played in(G, more or less...like I said, the song is interesting lol) so when you have a group that is playing off of a solid shaky foundation, it's going to be amazing!!!!
