KISS Legend Ace Frehley - Wikipedia: Fact or Fiction? (Part 1) 

Ace is so down to earth and personable, pretty much the opposite of Gene Simmons.

Being one of the Millions of fans who grew up listening to KISS in the 70's, I know that I am in no way alone in saying I'd give anything to meet the man and shake his hand. But I'm nothing but words on a screen and no one worth the time. But I listen the Art he recorded every single day, and brought my kids up listening to him break the laws of science with a guitar, and now I'm playing his music for my grandson. I'd sell all I own to have one of his guitars and more to even meet the man. And for that I know I am Also not alone. If he ever reads this, Thanks man. ..you were and Are an inspiration in my life past and present. I think the Heart of KISS was lost when you were no longer in the group. KISS isn't KISS without you. As a solo artist you're still You and still killing it. The only member that keeps giving to his fans since the very beginning. And I thank you for that also. Live long and keep riffing. You're a God with all you do. All you need to be is you, because it's all we need. Cheers.

Ace is cool. Def the coolest and most "REAL" member of KISS. I think the band was on a downward spiral the day he left/was fired/whatever story you choose to believe.

He meant the Wanderers. The Ducky Boys were a 1950's Bronx gang and shown heavily in the movie. Warriors is 1979 Coney Island-Bronx and back.

I wonder if it drives Ace nuts when people mispronounce his last name as "Free-lee." It's "Fray-lee." He has probably given up on correcting people.

I'm watching this for the 1st time, but I've seen several interviews with Ace. He seems to be a pretty down to earth type guy. Very easy to talk to. No ego, from what I can sense.

I'm glad he pointed out that the necklace was the one he was wearing was the one that was on the album cover,I thought it may be but never actually knew for sure...it's amazing to know that he has held on to it. .a very cool piece,it's always wondered what it was it shows up clearly on that cover..it started interesting..maybe he should make some copies and sell them...I would like to know more about it

Ace meant the movie the Ducky's were in was The Wanderers not The Warriors - I don't blame him for the mistake - easy mistake to make.

It was Ace who did the lead guitar work on Kiss' first few albums.

Ace is so cool . He's awsome. Nothing beats the original Ace . So far, to date, I never got to see Ace perform with the original members. I did get to meet him an autograph signing at a music store in Detroit during his first Comets Tour.

Got here after the Gene $immon$ FOF. In comparison to Ace, he doesn’t even look or talks like a human. That‘s the problem with Gene and Paul. They alienated a good portion of the fanbase and lost the credibility they had.

Ace is awesome, he was my childhood rock star hero, I was always Ace. He's just very relatable whereas Gene and Paul always roll out prepared lines we've heard a million times before. Id love to have a beer with Ace, reckon he'd be great company.

I've always loved Ace. I was 14 when Kiss first came out and the songs written by Ace were really cool. His solos in concert are very entertaining. I also am a big fan of his solo work out side of Kiss

Thank you Ace for making time to talk to your fans, to talk to the young guy/interviewer (who mispronounced your name even after you told us here how it's pronounced). I think we all wish we had a friend like you. I am grateful you are still here on this earth making kick ass music !

For some reason Ace Frehley’s voice and laugh reminds me of Curly Howard of the Three Stooges.

It is so amazing that Ace Freely is still alive and looking so good. And as I remember their appearance in Ottawa in 1974 I just realized that it is totally amazing that I survived the show and up until now.

I have no doubt that the world is much more technical and faster than the Ace guitarists, but few chosen sounds ultimately guitar in their hands as Frehley. Emotional guitarist Ace is not brilliant technical player, but playing guitar is a human activity, except for the guitar will play machines, robots, then maybe it will somehow evaluate and measure, but the human factor is important. You have two types of musicians, one usually tend to session players, played everything you tell them perfectly, but they make a lot of others have great ideas, their game might not be technically perfect, but what you play has a soul, a sense of melody, it sounds extraordinary. A typical example is Sweet Pain, Wagner solo is technically better and maybe a little longer, but Ace solo that's the magic, much better captures the spirit of the Destroyer.I think that was enough to develop a little solo, a little longer and let it go. There was no need D. Wagner, otherwise all the glory and honor for Dick, is no longer with us. I think you very exasperated, but are the crappiest sola Lick it Up and still is played technically very well equipped guitarist. Ace - Space Invader excellent.

Saw them finally the original lineup in 2000. Their last tour. THE BEST TIME MY BUDDY AND I ever had at a concert. And he was in a wheel chair.
