the videos may not please everyone but it cannot be said that the agency is not doing an excellent job, it is the only one that makes the girls do what they want in terms of songs and concepts, it makes them participate in the composition, writing and choice of the songs , and in Kpop it's rare. Plus they are very young even in the staff, you can already see the growth in the second album

I definitely see a lot of space for growth here cuz they're SOOOOO talented! The songs are mostly good, their vocals and performance ability are incredible! I have a reaction to 'Bad News' and 'Nobody Knows' coming soon and I saw it even more there! I just really question why they went this "dramatic storyline" route with their pre-debuts/debut.

@@KPopwithKhadijai watched the bts n the creative director said since they’re pretty young she wanted to invoke the feeling of freedom n for the next comeback it wasn’t supposed to take such a shift but the company demanded them to release it quick bc of the success of the debuy

Actually Kiss of Life was one of the most creative debuts last year, the most of people I've seen really like the concept of the continued MVs. Their company is not that big, so do all that for a debut it's not expected, and for kpop come out with so mature debut is rare and not easy at all. I tink their production don't really get you, because I really feel how they match the story told.

Hey, it's all subjective. People will love things I don't like and I'll love things other people don't like. That's part of the joy of having so many DIFFERENT reaction channels on RU-vid. I think the overall concept of what they did is really cool... I just did not like the actual execution of it. I give them props for coming with something unique though! They definitely stand out and that's hard to do when the industry is so oversaturated! I am looking forward to seeing where else they go as they move forward.

i really think their debut is really creative in a sense that you don’t see in kpop often. they’re from a small company which makes the effort even better for me. they could just debut like everybody else but they did something different and i appreciate it very much

They definitely did something different, and that's really cool!!! And for a small company to invest in such a creative concept is amazing. But I do feel like their TALENT as singers and performers was overshadowed by the MVs which is unfortunate...

That's amazing. They seem to be really popular, so that's a huge accomplishment with such a small company. I really hope they continue to do well and grow and develop their creative direction as they move forward, cuz these girls are REALLY talented!

You know to each their own but I disagree with you on this one a lot. As someone who’s been a kpop stan for a long time, I haven’t seen a concept like this in a while. it was almost nostalgic, it was giving second gen, kpop was so big on MV’s with storylines. “Kiss of life” is such a breath of fresh air and honestly the best debut of 2023. I like that their company went with a connected cinematic storyline. Regardless of how you feel about the story and how “cliche” it was. I’m glad they didn’t go for a single MV with just the choreo and some cool looking backgrounds and set designs, those are getting old, cause with every group doing the same it just ends up being a massive red ocean with nothing really sticking out from the pack. The members are young women and I’m pretty sure that’s also their target demographic. So the songs and MV’s being about coming of age, finding yourself, persistence and friendship makes sense and feels genuine. While I get it that it may not be everyone’s cup of tea or just something that they can’t resonate with, it felt a bit backhanded the way you talked about it.

That's fair. This video was my reaction and I obviously don't represent every single person who watches these videos - I can only represent myself. I do appreciate that they went for a different concept and I think with the right creative direction, it could have been something AMAZING. Unfortunately, the execution itself fell kind of flat for me. The themes, messages & overall idea of the stories were good and I understand why they resonated with a lot of people. The way they were done just didn't resonate with me, and that's okay - I'm not their target demographic. So my authentic reaction is what it is, but it doesn't stop anyone else from enjoying it! 💚

i think the stories in their mv's won't stop now, and this is quite normal in kpop. I don't know if you follow it, but there are big groups like "bts" and "enhypen" have a complete and dramatic universe within their songs and mv's. I think making mv's with stories ends up engaging the audience more.

Yes, I am familiar with the concept and I think it's really interesting. I just didn't really love... THIS particular execution of this kind of concept. 😕 We'll see how it goes as they continue forward!! They're super talented, so I'm excited to see what they do next...
