Rock & roll superheroes KISS are in Australia for their last-ever tour and to play at the AFL Grand Final and they tell us just how sacred their make-up is to them. #KISS #GeneSimmons #PaulStanley
Ahhhh the 70s , what an amazing time to be a teenager. I had just turned 14 yrs old, got the KISS live album I was hooked had a big crush on Ace , KISS posters adorned my bedroom walls . Im telling you , you had not lived until you went to a KISS concert back then and moved close to the stage and have your eyebrows singed off. Wonderful times.✌️💋
@@PaulStanleyprivate For one thing ,the real Paul Stanley happens to be a very busy man and doesn't have the leisure time to just happen upon my comment, however I will say I have been a KISS fan since I was 14 yrs old back in the early the early 70s , I am a Southern girl born and raised. I do feel you are impersonating Paul and I have no way of knowing for sure , but if you are indeed doing so ...dude that's so uncool , alot of people would fall for that sort of dirty trick ..
They brought so much to the world and music genre, a magic and mystique growing up- like no other. Pure entertainment and a spectacle unrivaled. We grew up and at each stage they were there!forever grateful, over generations and now we say good bye, godspeed . In hearts and memories ✨
How about this. Everybody knows tbat KISS are performing their last show in December. KISS is not a band, it is an Empire. It would be a sad thing to see this empire come to an end because of old age. So, why doesn't someone step up and pick up the guitar where they have left off? This quetion has been raised numerous times and most have said that it won't be the same without the origiinal band members. That may be so. So, how about this. Why don't 4 beautiful girls with long dark hair and a passion for heavy metal music form a female version of KISS? I personally think that would explode! What do you think?.....
Hi Steve, And what are they now? Pathetic old men? Well, if you want pathetic, take a look at Mick Jagger. He's just turned 80! Yes, you heard right. 80! And he, and whats left of the Rolling Stones have just completed a new album, and they are about to go out on tour again. I can't speak for anybody else, but to see some old codger dancing around on stage with his shirt off is enough to make me cringe. Now if thats not pathetic, then I don't know what is. When is enough enough?
I think they just bought another younger generation of Aussie fans after that show at the AFL grand final. It was great to see all those kids having a good time. They say you either love them or hate them, if you hate them then you really have a serious problem.
Hi stuwwhiteman You are absolutely correct. Kiss has captured another younger generation after performing at the AFL Grand final. But, there is a downside for the younger generation. You have overlooked the fact that Kiss are ending their career at the end of the year and the new generation of younger fans won't have the pleasure of going to see the band perform. So, what happens next? Can Kiss conceivably replace themselves with new band members( it wouldn't be the same, maybe for the new generation, but not for us). Could a female version of Kiss be another viable option, or is that the end of it? My view is, Kiss is not just a rock band it is an Empire, and it can't just end suddenly. I don't know. But I'd like to think that the Kiss dynasty will continue. Please feel free to share your thoughts.
@@stuwhiteman3810 Hi stuwhiteman, You are probably right in your statement too. I once heard that the most difficult band member to replace in KISS would be Gene Simmons. Why? Well, you need someone who is tall and fairly lean, someone who knows how to do the firebreathing act( which you and I both know is very very dangerous), someone who has a long tongue, and someone who can play bass guitar. I have put up a suggestion on youtube which I'm happy to run past you to see what you think. I, personally wouldn't mind seeing a female version of KISS. Imagine, 4 attractive girls dressed in the original KISS makeup and costumes, presenting their stage show to the world. I don't know, it might be a viable option, it might not. Feel free to share your views
Was at the 1980 gig. And the last at According Stadium. But wasn't a fan of the pre recorded video of Gene singing in God of Thunder. It was out of sync.
Hi there JR, My personal opinion is that we haven't seen the last of KISS. Every die hard KISS fan knows they're supposed to be ending it all in December this year. Now, even if they do, the question I ask is what happens next? KISS is not a band, its an Empire, and empires don't just collapse abruptly. I personally feel that, in some way or another, KISS will continue. There will be something after they finish. What that is, I don't know. Perhaps there might be a female version of KISS in the pipeline. At this point, its wait and see.
Paul Stanley once said that KISS will never die. He also said that KISS could continue without him or Gene Simmons. I'm not sure if I could completely agree with that. Maybe he's right, maybe he's not. But, the way I see it, KISS is not a band, its an Empire. And they have just captured a new generation of younger fans after performing at the AFL Grand final in Australia. It would be sad to see the younger generation miss out on going to see the band perform. There is talk that Gene Simmons and Paul Stanley are considering replacing themselves with new members ( that may work for the new younger generation of fans, but not for us). So, I have a suggestion.( this is probably something they have already thought of). Why don't they put together a female version of KISS. I reckon there'd be plenty of females willing to do it. What do you think?
You're spot on.....Ace & Peter were about the music.....Simmons & Stanley were about the money. They say they'd do anything for the fans, but only if the fans are prepared to part with their hard earned cash 💸
Ohhhh damn they didnt mention how Paul Stanley Lip Syncs live concerts since like the last 10 years when he lost his ability to Sing. Who would have thought they missed that Major point
Its only sacred when there's no money involved but if a buck can be made then what the hell!? Grab a couple of replacements and chuck the make up on them.
Can't wait for the backing track to fail at the Grand Final and a bunch of lip syncing 70+ year olds just stare at each other on stage. This has the potential to make the Meatloaf Grand Final look good. 🤣
@@Speckled10 anyone with half a brain knows Paul has faked almost all his lead vocals since the EOTR tour started in Jan 2019. You sound like a little kid.
Hey there lordeuron, I do agree to an extent. There is nothing like seeing the founding members of KISS playing together. But, just as a point of interest, KISS are not the only band that have fired and replaced band members. I still think they are awesome but they are not getting any younger. In saying that look at Mick Jagger. He has just turned 80, and has just completed a new album, and he's going out on another tour!
Great songs but the only thing sacred about this Khazar Ashkenazi Jewish led band is about the same of that which is sacred in the Catholic church/cabal of Baal Hammon and Tanit. Screwtape Letter #6 sacred with the Father Below. Elvis sang sacred songs but his life was far from that.
