Brilliant performance at the AFL Grand Final. Not many overseas artists realise how much important it is to get a gig for this. He respected everyone and once again a great entertainer. From Australia.
I've always adored Robbie Williams, I went over to England from Dublin in 2002 to his Knebworth concert, and since then I've been completely hooked on everything this wonderful man has ever done; he's without doubt, the best British entertainer/performer ever, just love him, and now I'm delighted that he's finally found peace with himself, married to a wife he clearly adores and a devoted daddy to 4; the interview with Dermot O'Leary last night made me cry at his honesty.
The man is a superstar. We just had the pleasure of seeing him perform at the AFL Grand Final in Australia, and it's being talked about as one of the best performances ever.
as a 10 yo german boy, robbie was my childhood idol back in those early 2000s. i still enjoy the songs that i loved back then and listen to them frequently. while i usually don't like talk shows and entertainment stuff, especially not the shite we are served here in germany, i've been, for a good while now, rather fond of the graham norton show and these little video snippets, especially when robbie's in them. just a joy to listen to him and his stories. still looking great as well!
Amazing to think that haters on the internet in 2022 are still a thing and amazing for you to think your opinion is relevant and needed enough for you to comment on RU-vid. CLEARED.💀💀💀
@@davidpearson6346 Appearance is pretty big in the showbiz world. His success is the most important thing which I also mentioned in the albums record and ended on that point but whatever.
@@seanjosephhayes don't u think Rob knows that? He's had numerous hair transplants that have failed and his lack of hair which was once this 'thing' is a massive deal to him. Probably to most blokes but especially to someone as famous and mentally unstable as him.
@@lilme7052 I didn’t realise he’d had transplants and there were issues with a lack of hair for him, my bad. I just remember seeing him on Graham’s show before as well and he seemed to look a lot better with his hairstyle in previous appearances on the show.
Just see the difference between Yanks and Brits here - Miss Curtis loving her interrupting and wishing for the limelight, and the Brits in their simple respect.
Oh please. Best and most unique feature of the GNS is the interaction between guests, and that requires occasional interjecting. We must all stop feeling offense on strangers' behalves.
Yes! I’ve been saying that for years! I hate when Americans are on the show. They are such disrespectful attention whores. The Brits are so considerate of each other and so humble. As an American it’s very embarrassing to watch them. 🫤
It WAS what he want...he did start the promo at US, but at the same feel so sick of his Fame...then he thinks couldn't stand (the consequenses) of bigger Fame so decided stop doing any promo...bought house/ property in US, make the country as his 'escape' place/ live as ordinary-guy...but lately he feels mentally fit, so decide to continue the long-postponed of his carrier-developing in US
This isn't a competition lmao. Elvis is dead and he isn't. Plain simple and that's coming from someone who loves Elvis but you gotta admit that Robbie is talented as well. Don't be so bitter lol learn to be happy for once 😚
@@50milliondownthedraintonym16 You think? That's odd because Bowie had 10 more studio albums in the UK Charts Top 10 after that, 'The Next Day' actually debuted straight into No.1. Here's the chart position stats 😉 : 1984 Tonight - 1 1987 Never Let Me Down - 6 1993 Black Tie White Noise - 1 1995 Outside - 8 1997 Earthling - 6 1999 Hours - 5 2002 Heathen - 5 2003 Reality - 3 2013 The Next Day - 1 2016 Blackstar - 1 Not bad for somebody who was ''done'' after 'Let's Dance' eh?
He cut a bad deal with the songwriter and arranger who wrote his hit Angels, was way too greedy and gave not enough credit to the writers. Now all Robbie's songs from others are all duds. Robbie has numerous hopeless albums since.
@@tigertot4935 rubbish. There are rubbish albums of his. No one knows any songs for about 20 years since the original writer wrote those hits. Robbie is not a songwriter at least he's never written a hit
He can play guitar, piano, but doesn't as expert as Gary w/ his piano, keyboard...so does/ did Justin Timberlake, Madonna, Michael Jackson, George Michael, Julio & Enrique Iglesias, Celine Dion, Ricky Martin
He's one half of a fantastic songwriting team, the other being Guy Chambers. They both write basically all of his songs together, and of course sometimes they have other songwriters' contributions, but those two are at the core.
Never been that arsed about Robbie. He sings from his throat, which I can’t stand. Good entertainer surrounded by the right people but that’s about it.
One of the most fantastic things of life is that you'll be old soon too.....but it's a privilege to be old not everyone makes it!...and no one gets out alive!
@Lyla Hale The great thing about being 50ish or over now is we were young when the UK was a brilliant place to live. The music was great, we could afford to buy property and the world was generally a happier place. I'm SO glad I'm not young in this absolute sh$tshow of a world that you're 'growing up' in now. I genuinely pity the youth.
Quick, name 5 Robbie Williams songs! No I couldn't either. Actually not even one to be honest. If you're 50 and British you probably can, but he never really broke big in America.
It’s become a well known fact that making it big in the US is no longer a sign of success- the US record industry has been exposed for rejection of foreign artists for decades and it just getting worse. Case in point - Australian legend John Farnham who was Queens first choice for their lead singer. Has a 3.2 octave belting range and American vocal coaches rate him above Steve Perry. Cold Chisel another example where the Americans rejected them because the lead singer was “too wild”.. please..
Anyway, he 'paused' his carrier in US purposely...when his management started promoting his albums in US, he was just so sick of the popularity...so he told to stop any promo, then live ordinary life in US/ LA...now he seems mentally fit, for release the 'pause button'...
@@steve10 Don't look back in Anger was Oasis 1. Angels 2. Let Me Entertain You 3. Millennium 4. Rock DJ 5. Kids (with Kylie Minogue) You poor Yanks. Missing out on classic pop tunes!
Angels Let me Entertain You Doing it for the Kids Better Man Monsoon and all the golden oldies from his Swing album like Mack the Knife I am Australian and he's popular here
You're such 'antagonist' in discussion about mental-health...act as if they've right requiring other people looked 10-20 years younger...if they don't woluld heartlessly labelling people who looked as their 40s or more 'not aged well'...
I think when he told us doesn't sleep for 36 hours yet, like 'disclaimer'/ asking us excused him with whatever the normal effect of person who rest-lack
