@@argetlamznthey won’t ever release straight nails because the “bend” is there to keep the structure. They would snap right in half if not and that would hurrrrtt.

Omg i literally just bought theses and am on day 5 of wearing them and I am in loveeeeeee ! I put builder gel on one hand to see what that will do but frfr both hands doing well I definitely would appreciate more nail shapes and lengths but I love them
i think this looks pretty easy for beginners. However, i dunno if its just me ... but did you put them on all the way to your free edge?? looks like when you were filing they weren't fully attached.

I just wanna add, for everyone scared of allergies, I recommend using hema-free gels as HEMA is the ingredient in any gel polish that causes contact dermatitis to develop. I recently developed a mild allergy to hema and have been using entirely hema free products since then and I can tell you they don’t give me a reaction. Some brands I would recommend: bevlah, mithmillo and dvok for Korean gels and apres has a sensitive/ hema-free version of their extend gel as well. Also want to add, contact dermatitis will develop anyways if you are someone who is prone to developing it or already have it for another ingredient (eg fragrance) and only applying it on your nail bed vs skin will not make a difference as the particles are very small and are absorbed into the skin through the nail bed anyways so I would recommend to always use a hema free base gel on your natural nails to start. I tried these back in March. It's the FIRST time I've ever done my own nails that they didn't pop off within a few days. I literally had to soak these off after 2 weeks. I say they are DEFINITELY worth the $20!❤
I can grow my nails on my non dominant hand easier than my dominant hand, mostly because I ruin my dominant hand with mistakes. I love encapsulating glitter on my long nails. It looks so good! And I found out that syrups look amazing over that glitter too! I spent way too much on Korean polishes this year…not as much as you, but like $1000+ and I think I’m done.
Also the darker pink ones work really good if you want to do a ombre and use acrylic or polygel you just placed them halfway on your nail and because they're shaped a little bit more square they fit actually really well
Evie this is not hate I just cracked up when I saw it. You were talking about how you’re not sure about the color of the nail tips but your other hand that you had done was the exact same color as the nail tips for reference look at the clip at 3:32
Okay I tried this kit and honestly better quality than my $150 Kiara Sky gel x kit lol I got over 2 weeks of wear and probably could have gone longer if I didn't have a stressful week at work haha
Not gonna lie hearing Evie say "when I retire from doing nails" made just a little sad. Of course everyone's youtube career is their own and they decide when and if they stop but I'll still be sad when one of my favorites stops uploading new videos.
Evie, I’ve found it is so much easier to face the lamp the opposite direction of the hand you’re curing (facing the opening left to cure fingers on your right hand). Helps with placing those fingers quickly!
Ive want wanting to try this set. I would only use the refill kit but I wanted to see how they fit most of all. These gel tips always fit too flat for my nailbeds. Plastic makes a white line so idk who said it doesnt if its gel.
I love Kiss products. Even if they’re not first to do it, they make it so easy and accessible. I’ll probably buy the kit just for the lamp. Editing to add the lamp is sold separately online!
I have cuticle nippers with a 3mm blade from that same brand and I love them. They were like $30 or something but well worth it, and the smaller blade is so much better in my opinion
i always struggle with the like press-ons so i have really big nail beds same size as yours, do you reccomend some tips that fit even for the bigger nail beds
I have large nail beds, and I’ve found the easiest thing to do is to buy a longer full cover tip, and cut it down to the length you want. It’s a bit of a pain, but the shorter lengths in most kits don’t work for me. It’s my thumbs that pose the problems. A size 0 for me is still too small. I need like a 00, which no company makes. I wish someone would come out with some gel-x nail dupes for us gals with larger nail beds!

Same reason I didn’t get them yesterday. 😫 Now I’m itching to get them because I know they’ll fit my long nail beds. Many times “long” doesn’t work for me.
i got this kit and been waiting for you to try the lamp. i only got it for the lamp but those tips look okay. im just not a fan of how they curve the tip on the sides.
This is dumb but, you saying death becomes her and putting up a picture just solved a problem I’ve been dealing with for 10 years, I was 6 and it was on the to while my mum was sleeping and I got scared and had nightmares about it for years, now I can go watch it and see what it actually is :D
I cannot get full cover tips to stay on my bare, but buffed, nails with just extend gel. They last 1 day, if I’m lucky. I have to use a binder. I’m wondering if there’s some kind of built-in binder/glue, and that is why it cured faster.

They won’t fit my thumbs. I don’t have giant thumbs or man hands just very c curve nails from side wall to side wall so only gel x 00’s fit me in the sculptured nails. No $20 sets for this girl unless I don’t include the thumbs 😃😆
Did she say when she retires from nails? I'm already 40 & I'm not tired of my press on nails yet. My twin & I are having the time of our lives with these press on nails! We found a glue that keeps them on longer than 2+ weeks 😊❤🎉
my beetles lamp (the orig. one) just died so i was looking for a new kit and i have a lot of clear tips already and wanted a lamp w/ a longer cord and motion sense or a switch so this is perfect! i first got my beetles kit when you put out that review years ago, and you're still the first person i turn to for info on new ones! tysm for such fun and informative content! 😄
Dude, i've been cutting my dead skin of with those little scissors my whole life. It doesn't matter if u r lefty or righty, u have to use both hands anyway. It's easy with practice

I love watching your videos because as a short nail girl watching you make your nails has has given me the courage to try some long nails so I ordered a couple from Temu and I have the same kit as in the video so I’m using the gel to glue them on. Maybe you could try some different ones from a different company and see how it works or if they all are the same in the end? ❤

Are the nails sturdy? Kiss has another set that was really cute, but when I squeezed the nails it was so flimsy that I would have had the same effect putting duct tape on my nails instead of the tips 😢 I've been scared of kiss kits ever since lol
