28mm plastic miniatures from Fireforge. In this video I'll be exclusively looking at the Samurai Warriors, with sprues from the other box sets to be showcased later on.
I guess the issue I would have with the figs is that I would want something like 6 studded helmets to make them look more uniform for rank and file samurai, with a leader type with a different helmet. I also wish they had bows as a option.
I have the models and I certainly agree they are really nice. I don't think there is a box in the series I don't like - cavalry is great, Ashigaru are superb. I am very happy that Fireforge managed to crowdfund the projest. It was not a complete success because 'warrior monk tier' was not reached, but Warlord models are a bit too complicated and dated and the Fireforge Samurai Wars plastics are excellent to build sizable armies from the Sengoku period and the rest of Samurai wars including the invasion of Korea.
