Thank you. This was the first positive and fair review for this game. Not to say that it doesn’t have its cons but I think a game like this with a few patches from the developer and maybe some dlc will male a pretty solid game. I think I’ll be giving this one a go
Thanks Joshua! Some quality-of-life updates through patches can definitely help and if they end up doing DLC the right way they can even make the 'roadblock' I talked about more tolerable. Curious to see what this developer will do in the future, whether it's with Kitaria Fables or something else. Hope you enjoy the game as much as I did!
Ya its a nice simple game i been enjoying it most of the time i die is my fault plus i dont have good armor or have more spells so am kind of playing it hard lol one think i want or don't know if we get but i want a large book with info on monsters drops and items.
@@zerokura That'd be nice! I'm glad the items themselves give away where you can farm them but if you don't have any of the items at hand it'd be useful to have a book like that. Also for what it's worth - once you get to Rivero Fortress (2nd town) you can use 50 bat wings to craft an accessory that heals you when you do a normal attack. Might help a bit with surviving!
@@Swrinny ya i made that first just need to gather more stuff for armor and trying to get a miner hat. I like you can pin the items and you will have a green star on the materials you need you can also see the pin item so you can check how much you need. Its pretty neat that the traveling merchant pumpkin lets you buy a new bag so you have a bigger backpack i was wondering how that was going to work. Am also saving up to buy these wings that give you +20 to movement speed so you can move faster.
@@zerokura Ohhh yeah the wings are definitely worth the grind. Really helps with running around, I believe the last upgraded version gave me 50% extra movement speed which was huge :D
Hey, man. First time on your channel and I just watched a few videos so far, but I'm subscribing right now. I really like the way you review games. Keep up the good work 👍!
@@Swrinny its so fun hahaha. Didnt technically buy it with my money and got to choose it as a gift so theres that. Been playing D6, SW5, KB2 and other games and other games my pc cant handle hahaha
@@mk7893 We really do haha. Sadly I don't have the time to cover all the games I want to, but it's funny to see the few I do in your list of played games :D
I haven't bought a switch as I don't have enough games on the platform to justify a purchase. As such I was deeply upset I'd miss Fine Factory 5 (until I saw the bachelors and how much it looks like the new SOS trends). But this looks extremely interesting and it's available for PC so I plan to give it a try.
I do prefer reviews that try to focus more on what the developers focused more on than parts that were obviously neglected. Imagine is someone gave this game a negative for not being hardcore enough.
Well it can definitely be beat in under 12 hours of steady grinding, this game really needs some good dlc to make it worthwhile, although the price was right, it is a great game, and can be challenging at times.
Yup, got the trophy and all to confirm. What is bugged on your game? One of the quests itself or are you missing one but can't see any markers? Make sure to check the tavern of Rivero inn and just outside of Rivero Fortress (there's a guard there that forgot his lunch). There are two exits outside of the fortress and the one I'm talking about is the one that leads to the graveyard (not the one leading to the bridge). Hope this helps!
@@Swrinny I cant seem to prompt the quest Miss selene's request, and the other quest to unlock the stuffs in the shop, lile the one where you buy seeds and the one where you make food. I'm lost and don't know what else to do, I already did the Quest with the guard and nothing follows after that
@@paog8758 Not near my PS5 right now so can't check, but I vaguely remember that quest chain to start either in the snow town or desert town. Maybe check those and see if the little mouse creatures have something for ya
Yup! The game doesn't "end" after the final battle and you can keep playing as long as you like. There just won't be anything new happening or long-term goals (like relationships) to complete
Looking at the game story there are some little cosmetic DLCs that I didn't know of before. But other than that - I think if the game does well they could release some new areas/dungeons as DLC and make use of those inaccessible entry-points I've showed in the video
