"inside the dirty paint water" you're right, would never have guessed 😂 Pretty good for novice sculpting! You've got the right attitude; "the master has failed more than the novice has tried". It can be really fun, and with your love of kitbashing I think you'd benefit from adding more sculpting knowledge to your toolbox. There's some excellent resources out there for all kinds of common marine accessories, too!
It was surprising for sure, it was nice to get the mini back 😄Ye sculpting is definitely something I need to slowly improve with time, seems like an awesome tool to have.
try using something like putty or something that is close to green being like green stuff and practice on that for a while so you can make better fur and then afterwards be able to try it on green stuff that way you don't have to waist green stuff by practicing on it while making the figure
Nice kitbash dude, I think your sculptings fine but you need a slightly different tool for the fur, something a bit more pokey but not as thin as the knife, you can get wax sculpting tools pretty cheap and that'll give you a better range of tools to acheive better effects, I know my sculpting improved when I stopped just using the 1 tool.
