Hi Jasper, not sure if you have been told yet. Plumbing tape, you roll between your fingers and thumb to get similar to a thick thread, you then wrap this in the grooves a few times, before you then wrap it flat around the fitting. I am 56 and only learned this recently. 😂, Cheers Craig

do not forget to seal the cut edges of the cabinets where they meet the floor with PVA glue to stop the frame from absorbing damp.

I have always seen every type of tank like that connected using braided flex hose.

For work with water and pipes under pressure,, I like the old methode,, with the light brown hair looking stuff and gray toothpaste stuff. I have found that that gives me way less leakage issues 🙂

Things are looking good. Those plumbing fittings seem to have a bit of a learning curve to get leak proof connections. The threaded fittings, you might try pipe dope and the tape together. And as another said, that "light" in the sky was something else. Looks like you caught it just as it went over. Any idea what it was?

In the boiled you have a overpressure valve that should be connected to a drain pipe is to avoid the boiled explosion sometimes people put 2 of those

I'm sure that you know that the steady pressure is not making the leaks, it is the sudden stops and starts of It; the choks of water. Whatever it is in english. And Little amount of any damp and those sawdustaglue-cabinets are smushy sh*t. Not blaming, just noting. ,;-)

When your using PTFE tape start with the reel the other way around it will fly around the fitting then. Or unwrap some on the end of a pencil super quick and no fuss.

The washing machine outflow pipe must be higher than the inflow. Groete Billy in Suid Afrika

Great work!!! Thanks for the Videos... Just checking when you wrap the Teflon tape on the fitting it should turn the same way as tightening the fitting... Much better chance of not leaking. Edit: Later in the video you did wind in the correct direction...

I would put some ventilation holes in the network box as that Ubiquiti switch gets HOT.

I saw “foxtail” weeds near the pups. We call them foxtails here in the States. Anyway, if those get into the skin of an animal they will travel to the heart and kill them. Just an FYI 😉

Is the waste pipe sitting on the floor with no downward run On it? It will block up later with fat washing powder or liquids over time, raise the furthest end away up so there is a fall in the whole length of pipe! Nippy Nigel the plumber 😂

Not overheating the electronics in the box? Maybe drill some vent holes in the top...

Deze werkt honder miljoen keer beter dan die idiote teflon tape. Ik heb met die k-tape nog nooit een metaal verbinding dicht gekregen, werkt alleengoed voor kunstof draad verbindingen. Ik voel mee met je frustratie 🙂

It looks like you winding the tape in the wrong direction, you have to put it on the same rotation as you thread the connection.

Hennepmeuk met pasta, werkt veel beter dan teflontape.

I think you will regret not making your kitchen work benches higher. Buying a cheap flat pack kitchen is okay but it needs to be modified a little bit at lest another 100mm higher, you are a tall man and you will have back issues when washing up.

Use Loctite 577 on threaded connections. So much easier than ptfe tape and never leaks. Just need to use a bit of heat if you need to take them apart.

Why have you put your boiler down there? When they come to service it they won’t be happy at all. Boilers have to have eyes night access and it can’t be boxed in without ventilation. These are all European safety rules as far as I know, check up on it please.

My friend, few videos a go you said that you only can make money with 50 subscribers up. i tell you now why you don't have more. First, You take to long to do any project you start. Second. You talk to much. third you have to stop smoke because in every video we can hear your COPD Another thing. I know you only trying to show thw way you do what you do but people on RU-vid don't like that. They like videos of people getting on with projects. You don't. Hope you get there one day. I really do
