New fan, new sub! I’ve been watching a lot of minimalist/hack/organization videos, and I must say, yours are among the very best! Most videos, I end up making my own suggestions in the comments. oooo yes, that's always quite the task! When you start working on them, consider the following: What do I ABSOLUTELY NEED inside of these cabinets? To start the process take everything out, separate the stuff you use daily from the stuff you don't/rarely use. For food, make sure to go through and toss whatever's expired. Then, put back the stuff you use DAILY on the bottom-most shelves (don't focus on organizing yet unless you already have a good system in place). For food that is not expired but you won't use (for me, it's a sad unused jar of turkey gravy, lol) consider giving it to a friend or local food pantry. Next, put the once a year/seasonal/"I use this for special gatherings" stuff back on a higher shelf (again, don't worrying about organize unless you have a system). Give the remainder of the stuff to a friend or local Good Will (if it's in good condition). If it's not in good condition, toss it...or, if that's hard for you, have a friend or family member do it! NOW, you can turn your focus toward creating a system that will keep the cabinets from getting cluttered like it was before...it might get cluttered again, but a system will prevent it from getting out of control. By system, I mean specific placements of things (categories, bottom vs. top shelves) and utilizing *key* organizational items (clear bins, lazy Susan, shelfs racks, etc.) that will make your items *easy* for everyday access and "easier* for you to reorganize and declutter in the future! I know this was a lot lol, 😅 but I hope this helps for now! I'll be making a video some time in the next few weeks about decluttering 👍.
