Bleach is H2O + NaCl water and common salt, they make sodium hypochlorite. Both found in the environment.

@@thenatureofnurture6336 NaCl is the common kitchen salt. When it dissolves in water it just makes the water salty, it doesn't change the PH of the solution nor it makes it harmful to the environment in regular doses. When you dissolve NaClO you obtain Chlorine, named commercially as bleach. This is corrosive, and when dispersed in nature is highly polluting.
