So funny with the laundry!! There ARE places where you can do your laundry, or pay someone to do it 🤪. Never sand your floors if you though Reno dust was bad!!! We did lot of our own Reno in our last home, ceilings, floors, walls..SO much dust!! But it's all worth it in the end! ☺️

I've never done a major reno (and love your ideas/choices 👌) but from the way you describe the chaos it's much like childbirth (which I've gone twice) - you forget the worst of it once you get the baby or in your case; the finished reno 😅

We had ours done at the start of 2020 and it was a super tough couple of weeks trying to survive without any kitchen with 2 small kids. I had a “kitchen” set up in my living room. And by kitchen I mean kettle, microwave and the fridge freezer! 😅

Kitchen and bathroom renovations are the worst as they are so disruptive but you are over the worst of it now and next week will be far less stressful as it all starts to come together and you see it all taking shape. Am sure it will be fabulous when it's finished and will be worth the chaos. Love the exposed original floorboards in the hallway, who knew?

I can recommend going to a laundromat instead of washing in your tub. That was my favorite useful place to hide from the renovations. A few hours away and a good book can do wonders haha

A bowl in the bath tub would have saved a lot water (rather than leaving the tap running) when washing up. Sorry, had to say it :'D This is great content, I can't wait to watch week 2. I've loved all of your reno videos, and how relatable they are. You'll have a completely gorgeous house that you two took time to renovate/decorate and put a lot of work into (I'm thinking of those stairs you transformed by yourself!), well worth the time and effort ♥
