The Pro-Wash cycle is not the "most aggressive" wash as you mentioned. According to the Kitchen Aid website, the ProWash™ Cycle uses sensors to measure the soil levels of your dishes throughout the wash cycle to adapt wash time and temperature as needed for lighter loads and tough messes alike. After finding this out, I think I will actually start using that cycle more often to save time as I usually prerinse my dishes before placing in the dishwasher. Just wanted to let you know too. :)
I have this exact dishwasher, just installed. I went to try to run it without dishes in it, just to make sure it works. And it started beeping and the light over "clean" lit up as if it was telling me "no I'm not gonna run because there's no dishes in here." What do I do about this? Why won't it run for me?
It sounds like your dishwasher has a smart sensor that detects the absence of dishes. Try placing a few dishes in there and see if it starts running properly.
The main detergent compartment has a half-way marking labeled 2.0, what does that mean? Do you fill (liquid) detergent to this half-way mark, or all the way to the top?
My kitchen aid has no lock control button. The display is the exact same display as yours- do you know how to lock it so you can’t press the buttons by accident.
Can I use just the sani rinse option without choosing a cycle? Bought it 2 yrs ago and still can’t figure out the options- ridiculous to run the washer for hours just to sanitize canning jars!
