With a mass premium gas range the recommendation is usually 600 CFMs but vent standards are determined locally so you would want to check with your town on the exact number required. These units are OTR-rated meaning an over-the-range microwave can be placed above them and most microwaves vent between 300-390 CFMs.
I have a problems with this stove and do not recommend it. The metal paint flakes off the knobs! I called them and they transferred me to the "safety team" because I had cut my finger on the knob with the metal paint that was coming off. They are sending me new knobs, but I wasn't firm in mentioning the bezel ring around the knobs is a big part of the problem too. They went into detail about a heat vent being located near the knobs. So when the new knobs arrive I doubt the problem will be solved. At one time I was a loyal fan of Kitchenaid, but no more. Pro-mixer, coffee maker, measuring cups, etc. all with issues. However, an expensive stove/range is takes my dislike/distrust of Kitchenaid to a whole new level!
The cheesy plastic feeling burner knobs really turned me off to this range. I really don’t understand why anyone thinks a stove needs wifi and other tech. I’m still considering kitchen aid for other appliances but I think I narrowed the range down to the bluestar for a basic workhorse that should last decades.

Right you can’t turn it on or off when you’re at church or at work you can only turn it on or off if you’re in the house I found out if you’re in the house why wouldn’t you walk over and turn it on or off come on I’m sure it has time bake
