Krysanova has the lyricism and delicacy of Natasha Markarova and the courage of Maya Plisetskaya with an individual character that is all her own. I haven't been this excited about a ballerina since Olga Chenchikova danced Swan Lake in the US in 1985. The Bolshoi is rich with talent and I think has the greatest line up of soloists of both sexes and Krysanova is a major standout among them. Her entrelacé diagonale in là sylphide a wonder of nature. And who else can dance so many roles in the classical repertoire with the appropriate set of skills for each role? She's the only one.
I agree with your remarks about Krysanova, so well put down in words and it is a really nice feeling to be excited about an artist! Krysanova also excels in modern choreographies with her amazing musicality and her way of hitting all the accents. She can make even the most boring choreographies interesting to watch.
