In this video I'm going through the installation of my new radio, the inside, as well as engine bay speakers and how I connected the radio with the scanner control box together using a sound mixer.

The sound mixer has a built in amplifier, but it's not putting out enough power. I'll have to either get another sound mixer with amplifier or just add an additional amplifier to the system.

Nein, nicht mehr. Es war mein ursprünglicher Plan aber aus verschiedenen Gründen habe ich meine Meinung geändert. Ich habe das ausführlich in Episode 21 erklärt. Ich mach dazu mal Untertitel auf deutsch ;-)

the engine bay speaker you need to get a wireless microphone adapter so you can talk to people lol

Respectfully, not sure I agree with engine speaker for the following reason: the battery emits hydrogen gas. Please make sure the wiring is very well insulated. There is a MODERATE chance that operating an electrical component so close to the battery may result in an explosion or fire, especially near a heat source such as your engine. Also if the battery supports a hose to route hydrogen gases away from battery and engine, I highly recommend this for safety. Other than that, great job!

Thank you for your comment. Interesting aspect, I hadn't given it a thought. However, I don't think it's remotely an issue. Many first responder vehicles have speakers in their engine bays. Also, the speaker is located below the battery in a 'closed' area, therefore I don't think it would be affected by any gas emissions. There are many other electrical components or should I say wires that are closer to the battery and draw a lot more power than this speaker. Being mounted where it is, the speaker is also in a relatively cool place and will get less hot than any other component in the engine bay.
