+Noah Scott Not really. They use their front paws to encircle then their mouths to grab. That kitty could have caught more "real prey" with the moves it showed, than lost.

I know this comment is super old but that's also a kitten, so it's more inclined to take risks and jump around than actually watch and wait for the right moment, like an older cat would.
