Kitty Hawk - No KH50008 -  

Hey everyone! I’m thrilled to present my most challenging project yet: constructing the highly detailed #Sikorsky #MH60R #Seahawk model from #HSM73 Battle Cats, registration 167007-700, released in 2021. This kit, showcasing the iconic Battle Cats 700 livery, features numerous parts and a precise scale for many hours of rewarding assembly.
The level of detail inside is incredible. I had to do a lot of Googling to understand what each component does.
The MH-60R Seahawk is powered by two General Electric T700-GE-401C engines. These turboshaft engines are specifically designed for reliable and robust performance in marine settings, perfectly aligning with the Seahawk’s requirements for anti-submarine warfare and surface attack missions.
The MH-60R Seahawk, tagged TT-700, is a key asset of the U.S. Navy’s Helicopter Maritime Strike Squadron 73, also known as the 'Battle Cats,' stationed at Naval Air Station North Island, San Diego, California. This squadron extensively operates these helicopters.
Moreover, this particular helicopter model has been immortalized in aviation art by Ugo Crisponi, highlighted in a piece under reference JP-1310, celebrating its prominent role in naval aviation.
So, here it is! It’s almost complete, and I couldn’t be happier with the result. Now photo shooting! The Seahawk looks stunning. I hope you’ll enjoy the final reveal as much as I do?
