Been a proud GeminiJets collector since the very beginning! Also got a chance to deal with Elliott on a business level as a distribution hub. Very nice and friendly guy to work with! Keep them coming!
They took it from South Korean flag but they couldn't use it exactly the same because of the law. So they added white stripe in the middle and that made it look like pepsi logo 😅
WOW!!! WHAT AN OUTSTANDING COLLECTION. I WOULD LOVE TO HAVE A PRINTOUT OF ALL THE AIRPLANES THAT'S ON DISPLAY. THANKS SAM FOR SHOWING US SUCH BEAUTIFUL COLLECTIONS.
I always spend about 30 minutes looking for the model I want, then another 30 just admiring all the rest. I could easily spend a long time there but I gotta restrain myself otherwise I’d be walking out with a box full 😅
My favorite model is the JetBlue E190 in the “Blueprint” livery. Not only because I flew on that plane once, but, I really love the detail on that livery. :)
The fact you casually just say that you did that at 14 means your parents spoiled you massively as a child and you probably don't know how much milk costs
Hey Sam, I love how you branch off on different aspects of aviation, to even a passionate hobby about aviation. It's like a nice treat for us aviation enthusiast. Speaking of which, have you ever been or heard of Miniatur Wunderland? It's a small mini world controlled by smart chips in each vehicle, aircraft, and etc. What made them so popular, was the miniatur airport that's modeled after Hamburg. It's amazing the amount of detail they put into their projects, literally everything has it's own function and is operated by a smart computer, that move and perform various task. The miniatur wonderland even has working boats and submarines! Anyways, I'm getting off topic, but would love to see you make a video about the miniatur airport, if you ever get a chance. Keep up the great work!
Sam, thank you for your fun and energetic travel / aviation videos. I have recently discovered your work and really enjoyed watching several of your travel vlogs. This vlog on die cast jets was terrific. You asked for us to respond in the comment section with info on our favorite jet. My favorite is definitely the Pan Am 747 Clipper from 1968. My grandparents were between California and Hawaii. Therefore, each trip on the Clipper was a trip to see my grandparents in Hawaii or California. My favorite jet to collect isn't so much a jet. It's the models of the space shuttle orbiters.
The 747-400 was the first plane I was ever able to identify (around 7 years old) and it has been my dream to fly on one ever since. I have looked at them through airport terminal windows for years. In fact a few years ago I saw a KLM 747-400 at Chicago O’Hare and I got so excited. It truly is the plane that started my love of aviation.
I remember my first time at the Gemini Jets store. I called my friends waiting outside and told them they can leave and I would call them when I am ready to leave. I was there for a while! I was in complete awe.
Hey Sam. Nice video. I've been collecting Schabak 1/600 scale models since the 1980's. Love them because of the small size. I have one Gemini Jet Air Jamaica A320 model because I'm from Jamaica and used to fly on them. Also, it was the best color scheme of any airline, ever! 🙂
Something different for April Fools, I like it. Nice collection. I like their Concordes the most. Reminds me of the Knuffingen miniature airport in Hamburg.
Can u make a video of showing us your plane model collection @Sam Chui? I'm curious of how yours look since you've been collecting them since the 90's 😊
as a Vietnamese, i appreciate your efforts of recreating our planes model, especially Vietnam Airlines. There are still some of the airlines corp that you’re missing (Bamboo Airways, Pacific Airlines and Viet Jet) but still, the effort of putting up a model with so much details have my applause ❤️
I have no interest in model aircrafts whatsoever, but their enthusiasm about them is really amazing and made me watch and enjoy the video! Keep it up Sam!
hey sam i would like to win 1 of the 747 because my mother is a flight attendant at klm and she also flew in the 747 of klm and we are all very sorry that the 747 never see salute in klm blue again Sven from the Netherlands
What a lovely store!!!! I would definetely visit that store! I've a lot of models in my bedroom, I guess around the 100. My personal favourite is the BMI A320 1:50 model and the Air New Zealand 747 - Lord of the Rings livery. Thanks for this video Sam, enjoying your videos!
This is my dream shop. I also have a collection of some planes. I travel on planes as per the aircraft configuration. 747 is my favorite aircraft and its the first plane I flew. Good work Sam, I am fan of your work also.
My dream ! 😍😍 I want to visit this place , so I added it to my bucket list . I love this models , I built some using origami but still nothing can outshine it . Lovely
We build large Airplane models, but at this smaller scale, Hands down, they win. Its hard to work in such a small scale and still have clarity. Great Job Sam on this visit to Gemini Jets.
2:30 such a nice gesture, a giveaway because of the retirement of our last 7 big blue birds. Makes me so sad. I flew with KLM’s 747 to my family in Suriname like every year. I knew it would retire next year, so I wanted to say goodbye this December. Unfortunately the stupid corona situation made KLM decide to let them retire after 49 years (instead of 50 next year) flying with those 747’s... No big goodbye party that was planned next year. And airplane spotters weren’t allowed to spot the final landing... If you did turn up you would get a €400,- fine. The thing that hurts me the most is that our last KLM Boeing 747-400 (Tokyo) didn’t get a shower of respect from our fire department when she landed. :(
This is really amazing. I have heard in USA they have phew model plane shops in Newark, Las Vegas, Miami etc. My favorite model plane is Singapore Airlines which i have in Phoenix Die- Cast model.
