When I first heard about the changes Lovevery made, I was especially confused how the subscriber shop would work, so I hope this will help people who are looking for this information. We just received our Babbler Kit. When it was shipped, I received a link, that would only work when I logged into our Lovevery account, so no way of sharing the link. That subscriber shop is highly personalized for that specific kit and person. That means that I only saw a handful of items to purchase from the original Babbler Kit that are no longer in the new Babbler kit, nearly all were on backorder. So it is impossible with this link to e.g. order any pioneer or companion kit items (neither from the original nor new kits). Once the pioneer kit is shipped, I'll receive a new link to the items from the original pioneer kit that are no longer in the new kit and so on. I don't mind their toy changes overly much, they say on their homepage that they are learning what people like and they are evolving accordingly. All toys we received are amazing and our daughter is absolutely drawn to them. But I think they could have solved the subscriber shop better so people who do want original items have it easier - I don't like that I have to pay for shipping with each purchase of additional items from an original kit when all the items I wanted from all original kits combined would have saved me shipping kosts (as it would have been free if that would have been over $75 combined, or at least I only would have needed to pay for shipping once). What I dislike immensely and is the reason I'm even considering to quit the entire subscription in the future (we're currently prepaid until including the pioneer kit), is that they got rid of nearly all books in the new kits. That is absolutely not a child friendly decision. Getting all the books that weren't included any longer in the new Babbler kit through the subscription shop was roughly $25 (plus nearly $10 shipping if applicable). Their type of books, realistic and with content a child can relate to, is one of the big plus points and quite unique about Lovevery (and personally one of the reasons we got their subscription). That they took nearly every book out and have people buy them additionally, seems to be more profitable for them than for a child's development. They claim that the changes in the kits originated from feedback and when it comes to toys, I believe that they listened to what people liked and disliked and made the changes based on this. But I dare them to show me the feedback that suggested to keep the price of the kits as is but get rid of the majority of the books - seems very unlikely to me that there is even a handful of people who wanted that, let alone the majority of the feedback.

i agree about paying a lot for a quality of products. very cost effective for the long run, especially if having multiple babies.

that's exactly what makes it worthwhile for me! We def splurged on some higher end stuff with R, knowing we want more kids and have no regrets!

hi this is the answer i got from lovevry .. your daughter is older mine is 6 months The Subscriber Shop was just recently launched to support current subscribers directly impacted by the recent changes to the 1 year old Toddler Play Kits. Since you and your little one are still on the Baby Play Kits, you won't be able to access this opportunity until you reach the next year of play. you need to have your on link :)

I don’t get why they removed the farm book & crews shoe, these were their best books. I don’t think they should have reduced the amount of books in thee play kits. But perhaps they just need to reduce costs due to our current economic conditions.

I 100% agree with you. Farm book was my fave, I think they should've phased any update for new customers.

I paid for the Lovevery boxes (13-18 months) in advance. So i was expecting to get the original boxes. It really disappoints me that they changed things. I was every excited about those upcoming play kits but now I’m not so sure. I just don’t like that they took away so many of the toys I wanted for my son. Still good quality toys, but I want what I paid for.

I totally get that and would feel the same way. Can you skip the updated pioneer and put that towards one of the 2-3 year kits?

Honestly, I just recieved the 4 Updated Toddler boxes, and while I was sceptical about the changes upon delivery I felt such a warm experience in my heart. Lovevery loves children, and yes they did take away some necessities in their kits, they added some great things in. The bonus is that when you get your toddler boxes you can enter the Suscriber Shop and order the original items at a 40% discount which is what I did! I agree with Confused Mom, the Pioneer can be skipped. My favorote is the Realist and the Babbler, then the Originals from the Suscriber Shop, then the Companion kit. The only thing I like from the Pioneer is the Peg Board which I ordered in the Suscriber Shop, and the bead kit.

Is it a monthly cost or avg to be monthly
@theconfusedmom

For which? KiwiCo is $40 per box - or $20 monthly. And Lovevery is either $80 or $120 per box depending on which year you get, or $40 monthly. Hope that helps!
