KiwiRail on the Main North Line - Spring 2023 (4k) 

In the middle of November we spent time filming trains along the Main North Line, including chasing train 736 and 735 on the 22nd of November.
Since the Kaikoura earthquake in 2016, Train 736 is the Main North Line's one of two primary freight trains, running from Christchurch to Picton, with the majority of freight traffic carried bound for the North Island on the Interislander to Wellington. On the 22nd of November, we follow Train 736 on its highly scenic coastal journey to Picton, we end off with a short chase of Christchurch bound Train 735 as far as Dashwood before ending the video with a shot of 712 arriving into Picton at Sunrise
