Over a weeks period in November 2023 we cover KiwiRail trains over the full length of the Main North Line, running between Christchurch and Picton.
We start by capturing trains around the northern suburbs of Christchurch before chasing Train 736 north to Picton where we then follow Train 735 south to Dashwood Pass and capture a couple of trains in Picton; the end of the line.
The DX class is the prominent motive power on this line with the DXC/DXB and DXR classes hauling the tonnage. Sit back and relax as listen to the sounds of the DX Class at work!
