For the experienced staff it makes the most sense to let them decide where they work and when, they're much more efficient this way and satisfaction is much higher Most workplaces in NZ aren't organised and educated enough to have juniors working fully remotely though, one of the big aspects of work we're behind the curve in

Expensively hyped, and would decrease employee loyalty. Might be a temporary trend, but the strong companies would always build and maintain their own castles.
