Fast forward to their retirement performance at the same venue Sept 2023, this band has always had it. They went out on their terms and rocked the house as usual. Much respect. So glad to behold their greatness. So under rated.
He will be glad of your professional critique and thumbs up. I'll let him know. Guess your organisation has informed management of the show review and where it will be published. much appreciated, Brent, Kryx -K!X

Moon Dance jam...Walker Minnesota..this summer..can"t wait..Most Of these 80"s Bands still around...They may look a thousand Years Old But they Still Tear a Stage to pieces....
They were, and I never cared. I grew up just outside of Baltimore, they were like our little secret. Unfortunately that didn't do shit for their financial status....
Ikr.. they put on the best live shows, I've ever seen.. I like em better, when they play in smaller venues, or bars! Steve is the craziest, funniest lead singer EVER!
+perry mason Yes, they were & still one of the most underrated bands of the 80's! I just want to see em one more time before I leave this world, but unfortunately it's become very difficult, since they only play 10-12 shows a year now, plus the closest place(probably my 1st preference too!), would be in Maryland, at one of their home town shows, is abt a 6-7hr drive for me! :( Not like the old days when they were 10min's away! I'm originally from Northern Va., if I still lived there, it would be so much easier & I probably would have seen them play again, after they got back together, as many times as I could! I'm not sure how many bands you've seen live, but have you ever seen a better live show than these guys or had a better time? I've seen A LOT & to me, they were def. the best! I didn't even have to drink to have a blast & most of the time I didn't, or not much.. didn't wanna leave my spot in the front, to go to the bathroom!Haha Cuz you probably weren't gettin back up there, w/o a fight! Steve saw me & my best friend so much at their shows, he finally gave us his crazy Black n White checkered sunglasses.. don't know what happened to em.. either someone stole em from my house or she may still have em, we would trade em back & forth for years, cuz we weren't sure which one of us he threw em to?lol Yep, we were fan girlin' hard back then.. Not even embarrassed about it either!lol
+perry mason Oh yeah, I never got to hear them play any ACDC covers, by the time I started going to their shows, they strictly played KIX tunes, but that would have been awesome to see them play when they were " The Shoes", you're very lucky! :)
Brian/Ronnie is the most underrated guitar duo ever. How many other band guitar duos have lasted this long? and actually been "really good"? Uhhhh, none... Saw the early '89' tour at the Cotton Club in Atlanta (with Donnie)...was F'ing Epic.
I agree. I also like Scotti/Dave from Skid Row. Too bad they can't keep a frontman. I've seen both Kix and Skid Row in concert (few times each) and Kix always puts on a better live show. Bach's vocals in the early days were great but he obviously partied more than Steve as Steve can still kick all these years later (although he sounds strained on Hot Wire here).
This is the first time I have ever heard the bass guitar in kix music , I'm a bassist so I am pleased , must be those two full trace Elliott stacks and that Spector bass or is it a Warwick and a shout-out to the sound engineer for bringing the bass up in the mix Yo!
So I noticed in this performance, that Steve switched buckets when he did the water into confetti trick, whereas during the show at the Rams Head Live, he didn't change buckets, yet his trick still worked. Big goof up, if you ask me, hehehe!!!
they still rock.seen steve whiteman back in the early 90's at a bar in altoona pa without kix.they must have had a fallen out at the time.they was in greensburg pa a couple months ago.i missed it. and i need a kix in the ass for not going.
Into them a bit in the 80s (more now). Intorduced them to my wife (we have a gap I'm 1972, she's 1989), she's into them and our 7 yr old is all over Cold Blood and Don't Close Your Eyes (also wife's fave).
Alright, San Antonio, Are you ready to rock and roll? Would you please give a lukewarm welcome to the wildest band in the world.... KIX?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!
For an 80s band, how the hell do they still carry all that energy? U would never know these guys were around as long as they have been….let’s give a comparison between kix n motley….. kix has way more personality all around and play live and motley has nowhere near the performance presence…..don’t play period and Vince? Imagine him doing a split….lmao Well yes tons of banana splits lol😂
Fuck heart ache and the itch - I want to hear bump the La La or anything off Cool Kids or show business - Sorry KIX fans all over the world but I am a Prick - I know that.
