My band opened for Priest back in '98. KK came into our dressing room and talked to us and signed autographs. It was an honor to meet him. He was one of the nicest musicians I've ever met.

This is fantastic. KK is still killing it, and the band that he's put together compliment each other so well. And then there's Ripper. My God, that man can sing. I haven't heard him in several years. He keeps getting better. The vocal range he has is unbelievable. What a kick ass show. 👏 👏 👏 👏.

I didnt like Ripper when he was in JP and i dont still like! He got quite good voice but he cant performance at all. In this live propable wear the sunglasses whole geek. In JP time he had that stupid cap in his head and sunglasses nevöforget...

I don't know. Vitamins? I saw Judas Priest in 1998 in Stockton, CA when they started again with Tim Ripper Owens and toured to introduce him, and I thought he was quite amazing just in his first weeks with the band. But he was new to being a front man that year. I would say going from rookie in 1998 to having a tour under his belt a year later made a big difference. A few years later I saw them again, and noticed he was even more vocally capable. Experience makes all the difference.

Jesus! It is stupid how tight these guys are live. I have to keep reminding myself that I'm not listening to an Album. I don't think K.K could have gotten a more perfect group of guys together, they are all incredibly talented and just play so well together. If I didn't know better I'd think they'd been playing together for many many years.

@@Nightshade1881KK was in the revamped Judas Priest formed by the original singer Al Atkins. Judas Priest formed in 1968 with a very different lineup...KK joined at 17 bringing with him Ian Hill. After Atkins quit did Rob Halford and lastly Glenn Tipton joined in 1970-71. Glenn did write most of the songs.

Please do not compare judas priest with kk priest....judas nowadays is worse due to halford's age and tipton healthy problems.....thats why kk and ripper must return to judas...to continue the legacy.....Them can save one of the best metal bands on earth.....to start a band with 65 years i do not think will Last much

So I was a massive fan in the early 80's. Had British Steel, Stained Class, Sad Wings, Screaming, etc. on cassette in my car always. Most of my friends were into Metallica, Ozzy, Maiden, but I loved JP. Victim of Changes was always a personal favorite and was always thrilled when they played it in concert (saw them 4x). Wasn't till all these decades later I realized other fans appreciated it as much as I did. Cool to see KK still doing his thing. Great show, band and singer were excellent. Thanks for posting this.

God what an absolute killer performance this is! I'm so glad KK came back to music. The bloke hasn't lost a step and clearly still has a lot left in the tank! I'm so glad he linked up with Ripper Owens again too! Every time I hear Ripper sing whether it be live or recorded he sounds incredible and he makes it sound so effortless! I quite like the bass player too. The guy looks so happy and like he's having the time of his life up there! Yup, great band and a quality performance! I hope album number three from KK's Priest isn't too far away! 🤘

These guys sound amazing. I remember when I bought Jugulator and being so impressed with Ripper. K.K. is still 🔥 on the fretboard at 72 and not showing any signs of slowing down.. Excellent show guys!

The bassist Tony Newton was a pupil of Steve Harris and also he worked on the remastering of some Iron Maiden albums and on the mixing of the British Lion albums.

Feck me, I was watching Judas Priest Induction to the RnRHoFame and this popped up. Never heard of KK’s Priest so thought I’d give it a whirl for two or three minutes. What a performance, mucking farvelous! Tim is brilliant as is the bass player and of course KK has struck gold with this lineup. Metal as it should be, I ended watching the whole set instead of a few minutes. Need to get tickets for their tour, absolutely gobsmacked with this band!!

I was at the Painkiller Tour . Maybe 250 feet off the stage . Halford was into Rap and that was his whole gig at Chicago . Should have been a Great concert .. Halford Wrecked it . His Pathetic "Rap" jester's still makes me Puke . Should have been Good .
