For the context at 10:25, Sitting here today (6th June 2022), I am saying this - when KK left us 6 days ago, most people came up and claimed they never knew their all time favourite songs were sung by KK. They knew his songs, not him. I felt terrible. People can feel and enjoy the song, but how come they are not curious at least for 1% to know who this man is with a beautiful voice? Why not give the singer a little respect by simply knowing him and his identity. I remember I first googled about him back in 2006 when 'Tu Hi Meri Sab Hai'came out. Later, I realised he is the singer of Pal, Tadap Tadap Ke, 'Chale Jaise Hawaein', 'Dus Bahane' and many more. I always wanted to know more about him as he hardly came on reality shows and TV awards. I can say I'm a proud KK fan who not only heard his songs, but also knew his face, his full name, his identity and everything 💓🤗🤗🤗🤗 I love you and will love you forever KK ❤️

That’s exactly what happened with me to. When I listened to “ Tu Hi Meri Shab Hain” I was blown away and googled the singer. And from then on kept my eyes and ears open for all KK songs that he had sung prior and after. This was the pre smartphone era and it was tough to keep track of him as his public appearances were so few and there was no digital music library if his songs. But have been a KK fan since 2006. And I can proudly claim to be his fan. His song “ Alvida” from Life in Metro.. set a precedent of how to sing rock in Hindi.. or so I think at least. He was too good for this world, a gift from God to us and now God wanted him back.

I googled KK last year too and again there was hardly much about him. All these interviews of his have suddenly popped in my you tube after his passing. Even the algorithm of search engines cater to shallow empty untalented “ celebrities”. It’s a messed up world we live in.

@@nidhijindal1568 So true. Even I searched and the name that came up KK but nothing else about him. I saw him first time on the news on the day he died. And that is such a tragedy. Now I discover that all those songs which I liked over the years were sung by him. I'm now watching all his videos and interviews and rediscovering all his songs I've listened over the years.

@@nidhijindal1568actually the world isnt messed up, he never wanted publicity which he didn't got before his death except from his true fans..those ppl u see in ur feed or news all the time r actually attention seekers, nothing much..real legend nd artists like KK just do their work nd it speaks for himself..so if u see materialistically he was probably unseen for many, but those true music admirers nd artists knew exactly who KK was nd how deep nd long term thinking he had for his work.❤

:D KK is absolutely right. I am someone who has admired his voice for many years now and have been a big, big fan of his music. When I am asked who my favorite singer is and mention KK, he's not often recognized. It happened quite often earlier that I'd have to let the person know by mentioning some of his songs. He's undoubtedly more popular now than he was 5-6 years and a lot of people have begun to recognize him and his voice as KK's voice. When he came to the University (Sharda) where I studied, very few people knew him and not a lot cheered him initially but as the songs unfolded, believe you me, this man took everybody off their feet. Have attended multiple concerts but those don't cumulatively add up to the experience of 2 concerts of KK I've been to. His not indulging in a lot of media activities has actually earned him fans who genuinely like his music. Congrats, Mihir, for such a splendid episode.

I listen all the songs very carefully just to find out whether KK has sung any lines in that, and he always surprises me with that. 'chhan chhan chhana na' - Hera pheri (2000). I think one of the best song KK sung for Anu malik. And also one more line KK sung in HDDCS apart from Tadap Tadap ke was dheel de dheel de de re(Ungli kat sakti hai babu).

I had fallen in love with his voice, without even knowing the name ❤. During my childhood of early 2000s, I really used to put efforts to know his name... I was so eager to know that who the singer is behind all the songs which I like..... But unfortunately those hard-to-access internet days n lack of awareness in my elders resulted in nothing.... But after years when I saw him, I fell for his personality n simplicity as well..!! KK Sir your voice will echo in our hearts forever... Love u till eternity 🥺🙏💐

KK's voice seedhe dil tak ...his smile...his positive aura...oh god.. I didn't know him bfor but recently came to know dat all my favorite songs were sung by KK...Just one month bfor I searched in Google who sang kyun ajkal song bcoz I loved the way he sang....tab KK ko jana....slowly patha chala sare hit songs sab unke hey... Tamil songs bahuth hits diye hey...feeling proud dat hi is a malayali but malayalam industry was not dat lucky to have him....even he was a malayali he loved hindi most as I do...tribute dena chahthe huey bhi nahi dey pa rahi coz iam unable to control my emotions and i start crying whenever I start singing his songs ....god

He knew only a thing that is he loves to sing, doesn't matter it would be hit or not ...as he said in this video that he is an artist and he didn't come in this profession to make money or to achieve success .......he chose it as he love it from his heart ...... Chana Chan Chanana Na Num was a song from Hera Pheri, I think. It's one of my favourite of all time. I remember even the scenes, like how Akshay was dreaming and burnt the shirt while pressing/ironing it. I thought that song was sung by Abhijeet, he was/is another great singer with a beautiful voice.

You're doing a great job mihir. There is so much talent in india, but doesn't have a good platform where they can share their skills. You're providing one for them. Bringing famous and well known personality on the show will bring its credibility, but I would suggest you should provide platform even to those people who are so talented but very few people knows about it. The show needs to become big enough though so that it reaches a point where if I feature someone a LOT of people WILL pay attention. Till it gets there I will mostly have established acts who also have incredible stories to share but soon, yes, I will start featuring new artists too. I've actually done that already a few times. :)
