My wife and I moved here from Indianapolis almost 3 yrs. ago. From a 28 story apartment to Klamath Falls and its beautiful scenery was a culture shock for sure!! I paused as you were at Crater Lake to comment about the hair and hiking. I have longer hair than you both and the reason i love it here and people dont think about (I sure do) is that we have NO HUMIDITY!!😁 The last time i flew home to visit, i stepped out of the airport and my shirt stuck to me, my hair frizzed out into almost an AFRO..🤣🤣and when my friends picked me up it didnt take 15 miutes before we were in a traffic jam! I right then decided im never moving back. I got 2 big ol' Black Labs (Gus and Max) and at 50 yrs. old this place is perfect. No more suitjackets and scarves. I dress down and im ok with that. 600 waterfalls, crater lake, the redwood forest is close. I hike and just enjoy the fact that the Wal Mart parking lot with seagulls and mountains, is prettier than anything in Indiana!! Night life is not happining but.....300 days of sunshine a year and I love it.. Cool episode. Thanks for diggin it!🙂🙂

Its funny but I live in Florida but have visited Oregon a dozen times in the last 20 yrs. Bend is my favorite and I have been basically all over the map EXCEPT for Klamath Falls. Heck I have been to Crater Lake 2x and love the Umpqua River and even Medford but once again never visited KF. I have to include Klamath in my future travels now. What a cool vibe and town. The nature opportunities are right up my alley. Thanks for sharing the post Kevin and of course thanks for this video from Emily and Ethan = I liked their spice bags since I kind of do the same thing to try to help the bland food experience when traveling.

I was born and raised in Klamath Falls but I haven't been home since 1992 and I really want to go back and see how much it has changed.

7:30 PM California maybe they wear their hair down to keep warm. If the weather is cool that’s what they do here on the Central Coast although some do wear their hair up in a rubber band. We are heading up that way this fall and wow that late does look pretty neat, I think we will have to take a walk when we are out there. Thanks for sharing your video.

It is beautiful, and over all safe. Swim in the lake or eat the fish, you will get a rash. Warnings every so often when the water/fish are real bad. The other lakes in this area do not have this problem.

That's sad, what is the cause?

The beautiful Crater lake is awesome isn't it ? The lake is sacred to the Klamath tribes of Klamath county and the Klamath rezervation is nearby . The Klamath lake was stolen from the Klamath tribes and the Klamath lake is Too poisonous from insecticide and fertilizer and cow and horse manure every year and dangerous for dogs and children to enter now . The slaughter of several hundred Klamath tribes people was near to downtown Klamath falls and still is denied by racism and bigotry against Red people in Klamath county as Airbnb makes profit from what is supposed to be tribes rezervation land that the government gave to timber corporations and Oregon settler carpet baggers immigrants from "back east" and who still steal national forest service and bureau of land management property that is supposed to belong to the tribe of The Klamath peoples . Stay safe and have a nice day .
