I think camille and Marcel makes more sense cuz Marcel had an interest in cami in the first season while Klaus used her as a spy and a shrink and in season two Cami and Marcel start a sex relationship after cami sleeps with Marcel when she gets drunk and through the entire series Cami is more of a friend to Klaus they never keep any romantic feelings until near cami death which totally destroys hope of a special relationship.
I know Rebekah and Marcel have there happy ending but Marcel and cami do have chemistry through out the series this is just my opinion so not everyone agrees and that's okay but If I had to pick someone for Klaus its Caroline regardless of there being only desire and wants Klaus has no other suitor besides Caroline and they do get pretty close even if its only desire.

@@romeealero4683 no, Klaus had no interest on her, (not romantic) just because she was pregnant, and he was just jealous of Elijah because it would mean that his unborn child would have a father figure to look up to, plus Klaus noticed that Hayley had a crush on Elijah so he left them.
@@marcelamarreros9294 I get that but I still feel like he did but it was never developed because of Elijah, he didn’t want hope having another father figure even (Jackson) but even before that he still cares slightly, you can see it in the way he called her little wolf (otherwise he wouldn’t have slept with her). I agree that they aren’t romantically linked but they were still soulmates.

Caroline didn't really ship them she was always jealous cause she wanted Stefan. She just didn't want her with Damon of all people so she'd rather Stefan then her abuser
They should of ended the show with Elijah reunited with Hayley but keep us puzzled about Klaus and have the answers in legacies. Where we see Klaus after Hope has accepted(found peace) with his death

He was jealous in the beginning, then he was fine with it, then in season 4 he was jealous again, and it stayed that way. Ofc when he disowned Elijah for his part in Hayley's death. Klayley is the superior ship fr proven by the writers

Elijah loving Hayley should have ended many times. I prefer Antoniett over Hayley. She never bossed Elijah around, abused being under the Mikaelson's protection, nor was she married to another man.
Like Klaus said, Elijah is the very best of the Originals. He always believed in redemption for his family, no matter how gruesome and terrible the road to it was and how many casualties they would have. It didn't matter, as long as the family was happy.
