Nonsense even though he knew Love was the Vampires greatest weakness,,we saw how he looked and cared for Cami..He cared for Cami more than his ever cared for anyone..Not even Caroline could reach that point..Klaus had no problem biting caroline but Cami??He didnt even wanna touch her as she seemed too fragile as Rebekah said and he keeps her behind glasses..That's love right there coz he wants nothing that might hurt Cami.

Denise 4 life i don't think he was even jelous, more like scared, he was scared his daughter would call elijah dad, not just because of elijah and hayley's bond but because klaus has a tendency to think everyone rejects him and they would always choose elijah over him because he is the better in everything and so kalus is scared that his daughter will think elijah a better father option and prefer him, he is scared of being rejected by his own daughter and all is because he is the first one who rejects himself, he is the first one who believes that really is true that elijah would be a better father than him, klaus himself is the first one to underestimate his own capacity for good and consider himself a worthless monster and all because of how mikael raised him and the things he got into his head, the damage mikael did to all his children and parcticularly klaus is terrible.

He had shown that multiple times that he didn't care for her just because she was the mother of his daughter things were not good at the first but then their growth through the seasons was beyond words. Let me give you one proof that he cared for her not just as a mother of his child When Hope was born Hayley was killed by the witches if he didn't cared about her and if he really did cared about his child at that time he would have gone to save his daughter instead of staying their but he stayed holding her and that pain in his voice when he said that "she's gone" wasn't just because she was the mother of his child and there are so many scenes she didn't try to change him but she changed his life by giving him Hope and that was the most beautiful thing happened to him in his life At the end he was the only one who was most devastated by her death deeply i mean yes Elijah felt that pain too but the way he felt that pain no one felt that the same way yeah Elijah cared for Hayley he loved her but the way Klaus cared for her and loved her without showing and admitting it was beyond words Elijah never cared for her like that

And I love the originals but they lacked a lot in the romance aspect, specially this one with Hayley and Elijah. They were cute on paper but their whole narrative post season 1 got SO boring and they didn't had enough tension and spark, really just a no-fun couple to watch. I also think the foundation for their feelings and overall relationship was very shallow when you stop to think about it.

i disagree, Klaus could have let Dahlia killed Hayley but instead he found a way to save her, or he could have let Lucien killed her. Hope was to young to remember Hayley on those situation. And the Mikaelson never really cared about anyone other than their family.

Same goes for Hayley and the wolves, he could have killed them so they won't come after Hope but he didn't. As for Rebekah and Elijah, Rebekah would agree with Klaus to hide the truth if he decide to kill Hayley, because Rebekah loves the Klaus over Hayley. Elijah would agree because Elijah loves the family over Hayley, if it mean keeping the family in peace.
