I love how kol says "not everyones so lucky" but not sympathetically towards Elijah. He says like a dig like look what u did. Kol knew klaus loved her and that his brother was always between them.
I firmly believe that if it weren't for their deaths, Klayley was endgame. The way Klaus showed how frantic he was in his search for Hayley, how devestated he was when she was gone, how lost he was. It truly showed the depth of his emotions towards her. Hayley has always shown more loyalty and acceptance to Klaus than anyone else. She alone accepted him for who and what he was, understood his past demons and didn't hold them against him or told him to get over it. She was the living embodiment of the Mikaelson vow 'always and forever' and Klaus knew that, know how hard and steadfast Hayley fought for the Mikaelsons, saving them when nobody else could. They were the ultimate power couple and the writers failed to capitalize on a great story.

@@atmshah Elijah could not and did not like or accept Hayley's darkness. He could not accept who he was either, his own darkness. That caused issues with Hayley as well. Their entire relationship was forced by the writers as a plot device to create strife between the brothers in the first season.

And the ship wasn't forced at all, i mean c'mon they liked each other from the very first time they layed eyes on each other and their first kiss happened at the end of season 1!!. more convincing, the exchanged their "I love you" for the first time in season 4. That's what i call slow relationship buildup. The only thing wrong with Haylijah is that Elijah's dated his brother's one night stand and the mother of his niece. Other than that the chemistry clearly exists.

Klaus always was the right man for Hayley. He was the one who understand her the most, who worried for her the most, the one who protected her the most. And even Elijah says it himself, he says "i'd like to help hayley but i know you're the only one who can understand her". They were soulmates. Elijah gave a promise to hayley about he's going to protect her no matter what. "Don't make promises you can't keep" hayley said it before and he didn' keep his word. in the end he became the reason of hayley's death. But Klaus kept his promise. Hayley: You said you'll protect me. Klaus: and i will. another scene Klaus: i'm the only one who can protect you. another scene Klaus: i'm trying to keep you safe. And in the end Klaus was the one who tried to save hayley even if risks his own life and Elijah is the one who made her dead. I can compare H*ylijah and KLAYLEY till the morning but even a little scene, hayley's death shows us which couple is real. i'll never forgive the writters because of they ruined the most flawless couple my babies klayley. WASTED POTANTIAL.
Out of everyone Klaus ever met, Hayley was the most comfortable with him. She never feared him, and I think that's why he liked her. I also really like Klaroline, but Caroline definitely feared Klaus and was afraid to show loyalty to him because of everything he had done, whereas Hayley was very loyal to Klaus despite everything that he'd done. I liked that both Hayley and Caroline were strong-willed enough to speak their honest opinions to Klaus, and to call him out on his bs, and I think Cami severely lacked in that aspect. I would have been happy with a Klayley ending or a Klaroline ending, but I wish they had explored Klaus and Hayley's relationship further. The writers and actors always tried to say that Klayley's relationship was strictly platonic, but you can tell that it became more than that by season 4 and their chemistry began to trump Haylijah. I wish we had gotten at least another kiss scene or even one hug, but no, they only ever had Klaus touch her shoulder or neck, yet there was more chemistry in those small touches than in any Haylijah kissing or sex scenes in season 4. The writers really destroyed the enormous amount of potential that there was between these two, and only decided to reveal how Klaus truly felt about her when she was already dead. Ugh.
I agree, even though I'm a fan of Klaroline, Klaus definitely fancied Caroline, may have been IN LOVE with Caroline, but the relationship he shared with Hayley was deeper than Caroline could ever! Hayley was one of the few girls in his life who believed the good in him, SAW the good, accepted him the way he is, and didn't treat him like a monster, Caroline, on the other hand, tried to CHANGE Klaus OPENLY, which made Klaus feel like more of a monster and evil, she only saw him when she needed him and HER thing for Klaus was so selfish, whatever, I always think Klaus would choose Hayley over Caroline ANY day considering he treated way worse to Hayley leaving him than Caroline leaving him.
@@rupantihoque1059 I love Klaroline too, but I agree. The connection between Klaus and Hayley was so much deeper and grew organically, whereas with both Caroline and Cami it started as Klaus having an unrequited crush.

@@lii2582 as much as Klaus cared about Cami and Caroline, the mutual respect that he and Hayley had for each other was unmatched in any of Klaus's other ships. people like to say that it's because they weren't romantic and had to co-parent, but I don't think the two things are mutually exclusive. Klaus and Hayley grew to love each other AND respect each other, so they would have balanced each other out better than anyone else. one of my favorite quotes in TO is in the first or second episode of season 2, when Klaus tells Elijah that Hayley "can't live up to the pretty little picture you've painted of her in your head." It reminds me a bit of stelena after Elena became a vampire - Stefan kept trying to turn her back into the human who was in love with him, and I think Elijah tried very hard to do the same thing to Hayley after she became a hybrid. they loved each other, but their connection wasn't nearly as deep or strong as Klaus and Hayley's. and thank youu lol
Klaus for sure had something more than just mother of his child feelings for her, from 1st season of TO in that Speech it was so clear that he wanted to be with her, but couldn’t because of Elijah. He also was too complicated and paranoid for scared Hayley in the beginning, but you can see how they both episode by episode cared for each other. Kleyley is Canon, they deserved so much more.
This made me so emotionnal. Klayley deserves to be endgame, they had grow so much from season 1 to 5, they were soulmates. Even if with time, i get and tolerate Haylijah. Klaus was the right brother to her. Gosh i mss The Originals so bad :(
I am not sure about which couple I preferred as endgame all I know that I wanted them all to survive and raise Hope together Hope had little time with her dad growing up , she became an orphan at 15 definetly the worst ending of all time
I think all that fan service of klaroline ruined the main idea of Klayley, and part of the originals, I remember Joseph and Phoebe interviews long time ago, they mentioned klayley kind of romantic relationship.
I liked Elijah and Hayley in s1 and s2 but by s3 their chemistry was completely trumped by Klaus and Hayley in my opinion. Same with Klaus and Cami... I wasn't a huge fan of them overall but their chemistry hit a peak in s2 and then went downhill in s3. Klaus and Hayley had the strongest chemistry in s3.
They only had a connection in season 1. They couldn't be together in season 2 cause she married Jackson. And before they weren't on speaking terms. Season 3 she was still married to Jackson and after Jackson died she told him she had to let him go out of respect for Jackson. I honestly couldn't see how Elijah expected her to get with him right after her husband died. It's like he was waiting for Jackson to die lol. They got together like in the one before the last episode in season 3, all to separate for a next 5 yrs. Their relationship made no sense in season 4 and everything went downhill a few episodes later. To be honest they have been no way for them to develop a relationship, so I don't get why people ship so hard and bash Kayley ship. In my opinion it would have been better if they never made them a couple in the first place.
Just imagine if klaus has managed to save hayley in the end .. the moments we could of gotten .. the klayley endgame, seeing her appreciate the efforts he went to, to find her. I honestly believe then she would of seen how much klaus cared for her

Klayley deserved to be endgame, if it weren’t for Elijah falling for Hayley they would have been together. I believe when Klaus found out Elijah and Hayley had something, he stepped down for his brother. The writers should have explored Klayley’s relationship more

As a Kayley shipper, I have to say Klaus was the better brother. Thanks to Elijah, Klaus never got to be by his baby momma side. If Elijah wasn't around I am certain that Klaus would always be there for Hayley. Elijah irritated me, and we can see the proof on Klaus face. They both see pregnant Hayley walking by, Klaus was checking her out, but he sees Elijah checking her out as well. You could see the displeasure on his face. Klaus knew the act of personal space, Elijah didn't. If tables were turned Klaus wouldn't be hovering over his brother's baby mama. He would have been their for his niece and that's it. They say it was Klaus being paranoid but Klaus was right. It was all about Hayley, why on earth would Klaus be so devoted about his brother's unborn child. Then he says its about redemption but in season 2 he help Hayley run away with Hope, behind Klaus back.
FR Elijah only met Hayley cuz of klaus .. and the fact he pushed himself on her from the very beginning. When klaus was the one who protected her and excepted every single part of her
@@michaelaperiodtt1156 I know right! like Hayley and Elijah had chemistry and their romantic relationship was watchable but with a wider scene, I always felt bad for Klaus that he has to see his brother simping for his baby mama. But I also think Klayley wouldn't be endgame unless they lived/Elijah backed off. Klaus built this deep relationship with Hayley that he became broken after Hayley's death, the way he reacted, I haven't seen him react like this when he had to leave Caroline or when Cami died. I also think Klaus was a lot different than Damon because people keep on saying they're the same, if he were the same as Damon, he wouldn't respect the relationship between Hayley and Elijah
